I am excited to hear that RSL is coming out this way (Oxnard, CA) to train and run a scrimmage against PDL VC Fusion. With the potential of 3 Gauchos being on the team, there might be some good RSL fan support.

Actually, Robbie stands 5-9 and weighs in at 165 (aka: Little Wing). This Kenny Anaba guy is 6-2 and 195. Quite the difference. Though they both play forward.

Anaba is a big guy with a surprisingly soft touch. He looked intent on making a solid impression. Runs like the wind.

Okay sorry for trying to help...

I that blurry picture of him standing by himself, it kind of looks like Robbie.

    No need to be sorry.

I wish it had been my man Robbie. Never get tired of watching that kid play. I hope he kicks ass with the 23's, but can't wait 'til he gets back.

I have a hardcopy at home. I can try to scan and upload tonight, unless someone else has it handy.

Why is it a bad thing to get our hopes up? I'm excited for every team I follow. Why? Because at the start of the season, they have the same record as everyone else (All in 1st place or last place depending on which way you view the half full/empty glass).

Be excited if you want to.

Any news on the signings of Cordoba and Olave? Are those still going to happen, visa complications, etc?

The last news I had heard was that Cordoba was close and the visa was expected this week - so he would be in California for training camp. And Olave was a couple of weeks away. I can't remember if this news came from the chat or from a radio interview last week with Kreis.

It was the latest Bill Riley interview with Kreis where Kreis said he expected Cordoba, who is just waiting for his P1 Visa to get approved, to be with the team in California.

Also, he said he had this big speech prepared for the whole team, but with players being gone to national team training camps and Cordoba and the "Colombian central defender" (obviously Olave) not arriving yet, he will have to delay the speech until they get to Florida. I can't remember when they get to Florida, but the whole team won't be together until the end of February I believe.
