Yeah but you'll have to find a carpool to Wembley first.

Fanfeckingtastic! I was worried about this match what with no Mathis, but the boys showed balls and Guevara was awesome, from listening to the webcast(before it dumped!). However, they should never have given up an equaliser from the run of play against 10 men.

Great win...probably one of the best in Metros history. Now, take the lead from this, and carry this over into the league. Now, the Metros have to figure out how to beat Chicago in this final, and in the playoffs.

    THIS IS NOT OFFICIAL BUT:

I just got off the phone with Footix, and they announced after the match that the final will be at GIANTS STADIUM, OCTOBER 15TH.

Again, it's not official, but that's the word from Yurcak.

    SHUT UP YOU STUPID TOOL!!!!

What a win. As my game tracker refreshed, all I kept hoping was that there wouldn't be a 3 next to United. What a damn good suprise! Geez, now I'm really starting to wonder about this team without Clint. Either Amado came back to life, or he just has this vibe about him in USOC play. Either way, hopefully it'll carry over for the final. Oh my god, I can't believe this. Although it's hardly a time for nitpicking, I'm a bit dissapointed that they didn't put DC away having the man advantage and with an inexperienced goalkeeper. But whatever, the Comeback Kings are headed to the Finals!

Ooooh! Wish it wasn't a Wednesday since I'm up here in Providence. Ahh well. Still, it'd be home field advantage. Plus this game will actually be on tv!

  23. Unless the USSF has changed its rules, the USOC matches can't be played on artificial turf. Is Nick bring grass into GS in the middle of Jets/Giants schedule. I doubt it. I'd be happy to be wrong about it. Will ESC memberships be honored for tickets in 101?

I agree completely. That was a very nervous 15 minutes once the webcast went down. It sounded like Guevara had a very good work rate tonight. I recall him making a defensive play in the Metros box during the run of play. All credit to the team. A great result.

It is. But I'm still not buying that it's at Giants Stadium.
