To be honest, having a completely miserable or negative outlook on life and sport is not trolling. It’s being deficient as a human being, but that’s something different to trolling. I don’t see many trolls here. Some very stupid people, or people I disagree with on most things, sure. But no outright trolls.
I agree for the most part but there are a couple here who just post rage bait and one particular guy made that his entire personality like a decade ago and hasn't relented. I love how eloquently you stated this though. I usually say it a bit rough and get a very negative reaction from those types.
Yeah i feel the same way. I lost touch with so many good guys. I want Mezzy and 9Qui back. I know who you are referring to when you say this. Maybe in the future that relationship can be rebuilt, never say never. How can i rep this x1000. You know bro, family life has made you soft ( i am happy for you and wish you all the happiness in real life, of course), some of these lads here who go around spouting nonsense all day wouldn't be able to run with pre-adult responsibilities Umar. No way.
When half of certain BS posters are more about critiquing other members rather than the team and the players, I find these observations highly pompous and hypocritical. Anyways, back OT pls.
This forum has always been this way. It always was a place where posters called out others for dumb comments or ribbed others for bad predictions. People actually could take what they dished out... unlike you and many of the current wave. The irony of you talking about pompous when your one of the finger pointers who loves to preach accountability but runs and evades anytime you're held accountable is also hypocritical.
Just to add my 2 cents….it would be nice if posters here (who I assume are all grown adults) could simply take a step back and look at how they interact with others and contribute here in general and try to be better, it would help immensely. Being annoying isn’t trolling, being extremely negative isn’t trolling, but both are shitty ways to contribute to an online community. Letting go of personal animosity and resisting the urge to rage bait would also be much appreciated. This board has stayed busy for years and although we can’t go back to 2007, we can try and improve things little by little. I’m still happy we have a place to discuss this club on a daily basis, warts and all. The good outweighs the bad and always has.
Or we could just try to stay OT and suggest the mods do their actual jobs instead of contributing to the mess. 🚨 Eduardo Camavinga has reportedly been placed on Real Madrid’s list of potential departures following José Mourinho’s return to the Bernabéu.Los Blancos are said to be open to offers between €50M and €80M for the French midfielder, who is attracting interest from Manchester… pic.twitter.com/jgxS6Hvivn— Transfer News Live (@DeadlineDayLive) June 11, 2026 For what it's worth, he should be sold to make way for more essential midfield profiles.
I feel old every time I remember when it was discouraged to use shorthand/acronyms and you'd be scolded for pasting a rumor without a link (even going as far as "banning" discussing rumors from tribal football). Half the current posters wouldn't last back then.
For sure. What’s today’s version of Tribal Football that we can ban, that Indykalla account maybe? But hey @dooda , what are your ONTOPIC thoughts on Camavinga and his future with the club?
It's impossible to decide which ITK accounts are reliable and which aren't. Besides I'm guilty of posting silly rumors just for laughs. I'm torn on Camavinga - I feel for Cama he needs to leave to take the next step in his career. Football comes easy for him; its the lapses in concentration that kill him. He's too experienced to be making the same mistakes. I'm curious to see if Mou will do what he does and be tough on him and try get him to lock in. He's got everything it takes to be a great '8', I just don't think he can do that here. Hard enough to take that step up when we keep changing systems and managers and sticking him out at LB.
Tchouameni has a lot more value and can be sold for good money, then the midfield can be rebuild . Nobody is spending 60,70,80 million on Camavinga, ridiculous price just like asking 90 million for Rodrygo.... Camavinga struggle in midfield without a player with good ball possession...next to Kroos,Modric he looked good ....play him with a guy like Bernardo and Mateus Fernanses next to him and he can be useful in a double pivot.....maybe Mou can try and make him a new Cambiasso.....sell Tcho
It's not that Tchou has value, but he was arguably last season's most consistent midfielder. And Camavinga's roster spot is more valuable than the percieved monetary loss.
Funny how guys that won the biggest trophies in the sport are worth "about 60" but the club is supposed to pay about a hundo for a player that achieved relegation. How about no?
Exactly. How about putting a bit of value and trust in some of our players? Camavinga for me has a lot of untapped potential. The club and player are both to blame for the last two seasons, but I've seen enough of him to not want to give up on him just yet. I'd like him to be given a fair and consistent shot in midfield with a manager that knows how to get the most out of defensively oriented midfielders. And if he doesn't snap out of it this season and doesn't leave the injuries behind him, then we can consider a definite transfer for a fee that reflects his achievements as a player as well as his potential (or keep him as a squad player, if he accepts such role).
By that logic Vinicius and Ceballos have the same value. Every year the same talk. Sorry, trust is earned.
And by the end of next season, someone would again post that he should be given another shot. It never ends. We already know we have an over abundance of midfield runners, and not enough passers.
Sure, he may not have your trust, but he has mine. You don't need to agree with that. I'm also happy with him as a squad player. And if we manage to get an excellent CM, then sure...sell him (for a good price). Similar answer to @arcane
That's just by your standards because players are either worthless or precious little joys of wonder worth the world's fortune. A player that has played and contributed at that level for club and country being "worthless" is ridiculous talk.
Or never develop at all. Real Madrid is in a position to replace players that are holding the team up. Or perhaps the player will develop, just not in Madrid. He has had more than enough time.
If anyone has not heard Mourinho's story about Balotelli getting ejected despite Mourinho pleading with him during halftime not to even breathe on an opponent because they could not risk him being sent off... I suggest you go listen to it. But replace Balotelli with Camavinga.
I think Camavinga has to show some progress this year, otherwise he will be on the market next summer with 2 years left on his contract. Maybe not even progress, but at least the player we saw when he first arrived.
