The problem is nobody wants him. If there was good offer for him and the club he would be already packing. I dont know his wage, but its probably more than double of what any other club would offer him. He will be happy to stay on the bench until his contract expire and then sign a contact with some Saudi club or Newcastle/Everton/Villa
No judgement, but Camavinga views football as a job. It’s something that’s he’s good at naturally that has given his family generational wealth. He’s not interested in getting better, he’s interested in making money. He’s not leaving on his own, as living in Madrid and playing for the club is the apex, why voluntarily leave?
If he was serious about his football, he’d be taking this summer to get better. He’s in a perfect position to get minutes early since he’s not at the World Cup and will have full pre season. If I’m betting he won’t and more of the same. Hope I’m wrong.
And has 2 CLa to his name helping in decisive ways to achieve them so yes for a 2 time CL winner, the guy had a bad season and hasn’t grow all that much in 5 years, but his time here has been successful and is young, as in has another decade to go.
Best thing would be he travels to the mountains with the monks and trains in total isolation, Jean Claude van Damme style.
Happy that he’s spending time doing something positive for his mind and future. As for football, I still have faith in him but we’ll have to see if mourinho also have that faith.
Funny enough I think Mourinho liked Lass Diarra a lot as a player, so that kind of makes me intrigued about what he'd do with a player with a similar profile that I do consider a bit more athletic as well. In general, Mou's entire career is filled with a lot of midfield players with an impressive athletic profile as their main attribute so I'm not worried about Camavinga unless the club feels like he's a player they can get a significant offer for to balance other expenses.
I'm curious about who's going to be sacrificed in midfield for the new midfield recruit this transfer window. We've had reports that Mourinho likes Tchouameni, Valverde and Jude. It worries me that it might be Guler.
One or two of Tchou, Fede, Cama nd Jude need to go. Getting rid of the only creative passer and retaining all the runners is going backwards. Even Mou wanted his Sneijder, Ozil, and Deco.
Did he really? He's directly come out and said before that Granero is only being sold to QPR in 2010 because Lass won't bugger off. Lass and his agent have been huge headaches though so he mightve appreciated the player but not the person.
whoever thinks that Jose likes all of Tcho,Jude,Fede etc is fooling himself.....he is being told to say that he likes them because they are untouchable and have to start every game
Fede is a devastating RM/RW. If he stays there full time it does open the door. Though I fully agree, we need a play maker. If Stiller is available for 30 60 mill, i'd pull the trigger.
Not according to Fede, which is a shame. I don't think the team needs anymore Galacticos atm. Even a player like Stiller and Osimhen can vastly strenghen the team as a whole imo. With some sales of course. Remember how much better the team was when Ceballos was on form. And that was Ceballos ffs.
This happened when the whole board got filled with half trolls and mods didn’t do anything about it. After RM won 4 CLs everyone just expects them to win every game, nothing is alright, nothing is good enough etc… then they won another two and it got even worse. I’ll say it a million times, this place use to be about sharing opinions, learning and rooting for the same team. Mods killed it.
Happy that he’s spending time doing something positive for his mind and future. As for football, I still have faith in him but we’ll have to see if mourinho also have that faith.
Funny thing about this is that the RM sub in the Red app has been criticized by almost exact same thing. Right now, the moderation seems to be about the same, but the other side has more posters. We all know what that leads to.
I disagree. They have tried to allow freedom of discussion even when they don't agree. What has killed it is miserable fans and antics who will find a way to post on here anyways even if the Mods weren't lenient. RMBS was always special because we never need a Mod to save us, we took out the trash ourselves. This worked because people actually owned what they said and did. Now they don't. They deny, gaslight and bullshit and that is something that is a character flaw.. a moderator can't possible "moderate" or control all of that.
you’re right. As per usual. I did feel shitty blaming the mods, when really it’s the uneducated trolls. This place made me the fan I am today 100%. Without the oldies here I would be very much less of a fan. It’s a place I’ve visited almost daily since 2007, that’s 18 or so years. The decline is noticeable.
Some of the people here I have know for what feels like half my life. It was actually sad some relationship gotten broken and we have had some really decent contributors leave.
Yes. That includes those that support Real Madrid. If we get strict about it there's like, 7 people left.
