Onstad was interviewed today on the Wednesday sports show on Foothill college radio (KFJC - the greatest radio station ever). It was mostly standard stuff. He seemed genuinely upset as his showing in the first cup game. He thinks the soccer situation in Canada is pretty bleak.

As a kid he played hockey, but was such a bad skater that the coaches told him to go play soccer. Once he got there, he found out he was too slow to do much besides play goalie.

Well that's encouraging. Our keep is a guy who made it because of lack of competition for soccer players in Canada? Pass the Labatt's.

All of America's world class keepers are on other teams.

KFJC sucks donkey balls. ;) Except for my old hardcore show, and when we did live audio of their soccer games.
