well, as long as he is not too expensive it would not be a bad idea, assuming Forlan goes, this guy could be the 3rd or 4th striker depending on if Smith plays RW at the start of next season.

I got to agree with invinceable and say that wingers are a greater priotity. In a perfect world SAF and the board could add a good young left winger to learn under Giggs, and more depth for the right.

He may be stronger and faster than Rooney, but he hasn't proven himself yet in the premiership.

which is precisely why we wont be paying 25million + 2 or 3 players for him.. if he came it would not be an expensive transfer... and who the hell said he was faster and stronger than Rooney... tbh those are the 2 factors that put Rooney above most players his age... I cant really think of many players that are faster and stronger than Rooney... Ruud, Saha, Trez possibly, um Sheva has the pace but probably not as strong as Rooney or atleast does not display his strength like wayne does... Adriano certainly, just not that many fast and physical forwards...

Credit given where credit is due, but aren't we forgetting a certain Frenchman that plays down the road? He has lightning pace, and is arguably strong enough to hold off Rio in one of his team-slicing runs...

U can't be talking about Henry... he is no weakling but hold of Rio? perhaps, perhaps, out run him, or use acceleration to get by him but stronger than Rio? No sir... and yes, at 18 Rooney is stronger than Henry imo... if Henry is strong I have certainly not seen him demonstrate it the way Rooney has demonstrated his. For me, Titi will always be slightly girlish, afraid to header the ball, doesn't want to get his nice new clothes dirty (see GQ) but all the while very very effective...

OK maybe i embelished just a tad...Henry is definitely strong, but perhaps not strong enough to hold off Rio or as strong as Rooney, but we're talking about oxen here...
