They were on air for the last few minutes of the hour with Scott Kaplan (a former NFL placekicker, he had a local radio show in the morning on XTRA until the station was combined with an LA one) and got to tout the teams opening game. The coach said a few words about changes being made to the team, and Berly got to show off by kicking a field goal (this was at the NFL Experience, on the bay, right next to the Convention Center.)
I got a tape from a friend, but there really wasn't much. In answer to a question, he said: "It should be an exciting time, we're looking to make some changes with the team and, hopefully, make a run at the championship." *** Something that I forgot about in my original post was Kaplan kidding Berly. At the start of the segment, he called her "San Diegos hottest, most eligible bachelorette", said something about her having dumped the guy that she met at the bagel shop. And later, he encouraged guys to contact her, saying that that they should call "1-800-Kim-Pickup."
We were late due to the traffic and tons of people We were suppose to have a hit at 5:05 at the set and then later at the field goal kicking. I was disappointed that it took us so long to get from the Cox parking lot to the set in the NFLX. We had to walk, the SDPD woul dnot let Cox use the cart to take us down the main drag.
