Dissapointing outing. OM didn't look very productive at all. Not many shots were taken at goal. Christanval wasn't playing, is he basically out of favor since the new 3 man back line of Sommeil Hemdani and Meite is playing well ?

Another thing, although I love Mido's fighting spirit, am I alone in thinking that he isn't as good as he was advertised to be ? He's pretty slow, doesn't seem capable to get past defenders when he has the ball, and has a fairly weak shot (nothing compared to Drogba's long range bombs.) The only thing he seems good at are headers, and only nominally so. I'd rather see Marlet start ahead of him. Thoughts anyone ?

I think you're wrong on Mido. Yes he's not scoring as many goals as he used to when he was playing for celta or ajax, but his technical skills, his fighting spirit and as you said his headers. On the other hand Marlet's main quality is his pace, and I'm not sure it would have been useful against Le Mans (but he might be against Nantes for th next game).
