Hi All and welcome on OM Café

I have decided to open a special OM thread, considering no other marseille's threads could be found on the forum ( except the mercato one).
So with PSG and OM threads, two of the major french clubs are represented here, i hope other fans will do the same kinda threads for their clubs.....
here i will try to post some informations about l'om and actualise it oftenly i hope lol.
    today (friday, september the 3rd)
the om staff and non-international players with barthez (injuried) are training in marocco.they are gonna meet the I R Tanger for a friendly match .

The staff visiting the "medina" ( old town) of tanger:
Fabien barthez left the "equipde de france" owing to a foot injurie and joined the staff in marocco

you like him or not, but a new face was seen with the staff:
hope he will make C bouchet choice a good choice and addapt to his new club quicly (and intriduce himself to the supporters good luck lol).

    More informations are available here:
    http://www.om.net/

The next official match for marseille is on the 12th of september Vs FC SOchaux
here's the top 10 before next competition week end:

    i didn't mean to be original .
i thought your idea nice and simply did quite the same thing for the club i support.
    i expected your reaction although.
i just thought that was fun to have both paris and marseille's café in the frensh section...
however, do you think bouchet lies when he says he dodn't have any contacts with p.fiorese befaure tuesday?
he's a real lier and so is graille ( so are all the football club managers).

    ps:
kinda racist joke we realy can't stand here in marseille .

racist? being called a beur isn't racist...nor saying they cause crime....well not really....

kicking the s**t out of someone outside a nightclub for having a different skin colour....now thats racist...i'm not in the national front ffs....

I lived in paris for two years, I know what Racism is, trust me...

Anyways, back to L'OM....very peed off at the way he left Paris. Vahid said it all when he said he had no morals and has ashamed PSG...He has...He is not welcome in Paris anymore...I think maybe this will take the flak off Freddy Dehu for a while.

He knew he was going, I just wish he anounnced it or it leaked like Dehu going to L'OM before the cup final....

Many PSG fans are feeling anger and disgust at the minute - at least Freddy played on through the cup final and gave his all to win for us, despite the Ultras booing him.

Fabrice is a judas - no way about it....effergies are being put in place for the visit of Marseille at the Parc des Princes - mark my words...

also - what do you want fabrice for? Are you telling me there weren't better options?...many have been glad to see him go, despite going to Marseille - he falls asleep in some games - good work rate though....

yep and fiorese was kind of an emblematic player of your squad.
as a result he is not loved here, many people really hate him cause he ofently was decisive during om-psg games...
i think it 's going to be hard for him to be accepted by the supporters...
i think he will help us either. we had a real lack of offensive mildfielders....

    Friendly match
    OM 1-0 Tanger
l'OM won his match 1-0 against IRT TAnger. The scorer is Fiorese, the latest signed player comming from PSG.Notice that l'OM finished the match with only 9 players ( 2 red cards).

    RT Tanger - OM : 0-1 (0-1)
    in Tanger, Maroco
    Stade of Marshan
    Grass :good
    Audience : 8000
    Weather : sunny
OM : white shirts and shorts
IRT : blue and white stripped shirt, blue short
    Goal : Fiorèse (17e)
    Yellow cards : Batlles (26e), Yahiaoui (90 + 2)
    Red cards : Batlles (63e), Lizarazu (69e)
    OM : M'Bolhi - Lizarazu, L. N'Diaye, Ecker (Cap.), Ferreira - Costa (Yahiaoui, 71e), Batlles, Cheyrou - Fiorèse (Ribault 71e), Bamogo (Koke, 61e), Marlet

notice that the goalkeeper for marseille in this friendly match was Spinosi, the goalkeepers' coach from the staff.
He had to keep the goals because Barthez has a foot injury , gavanon is withe the "equipe de france" A' team ( "espoirs") and the third goalkeeper Carrasso is on a lown at guiguamp...

This will settle those long debated whose better arguements....

    Since 1990;

    PSG
    (championship winners 1994)
    (french cup finalists 2003)
    (french cup winners 1993, 1995, 1998, 2004)
    (league cup finalists 2000)
    (league cup winners 1995, 1998)
    (cup winners cup finalists 1997)
    (cup winners cup winners 1996)
(european super cup finalists 1996) - lol i think we got stuffed by Juve in this....

    8 trophies

    Marseille
(championship winners 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993*) and we know the last wasn't awarded and maybe the others shouldn't have....
    (french cup finalists 1991)
    (european cup finalists 1991)
    (european cup winners 1993)
    (UEFA cup finalists 2004)

    technically only 4 trophies - (i'm not counting 1993....)

please....I have fogotten any? Well there you go, L'OM are only sucessful this past decade by cheating their way to the top.....

ZoltaR, was it true that Martin Cardetti had a trial up at Marseille?

Also why let Runje leave? I know Barthez took his place, but didn't you guys really like him as a no1?

I always used to prefer him as a keeper..... :)
