    Not so fast.....

Anyways, Cisse isn't all that he's cracked up to be. Another Auxurre striker that can't hack it at big clubs anyways... Anybody remember Stephane Guivarc'h?

I'm going to the Lyon game in Auxerre on Sunday, and wondered (besides Tiago, who just signed and I guess may play) whether there are any other surprises I can look forward to?

Call me crazy, but I find all 4 of those guys stopable, especially Cisse and Niall Quinn, um I mean, Peter Crouch.

good question! having been to 2 matches and 2 practices i still haven't the foggiest idea what the team will look like in the next few weeks.

please note tiago hasn't signed (yet?)

the big questions i ask myself are 4-2-4? 4-3-3? wiltord? govou?

laughable? most OL fans didn't want baros any more than he wanted us.

the club has 3 quality arrivals so far for 1 (admittedly big) departure, and i'm still confident lacombe will get reinforcements both this month and in the winter mercado. houllier is a big question mark.

all in all the team is better on paper than last year's, and last year's team on the field could certainly have taken bigears home. compared to the OL i saw all year, liverpool, chelsea and milan AC showed me nothing in the final four that OL couldn't have handled.

    The Midfield (S.Fla)
Globo International just announced that Lyon have purchased Fred of Cruzeiro (21 yrs old...striker). Fee estimated at E12 million.

The kid has great potential. A Careca type.
