My (common-law) wife Alice Yantz and I have been loyal Sounders FC supporters since they first started in MLS just 3 short seasons ago, but we are having trouble with our area's fans and supporters here in Jefferson and Clallam Counties (Port Townsend/Sequim/Port Angeles/Forks) not getting noticed as legitimate Sounders followers becuase we're all stuck up here in "Redneckville" way north of the Hood Canal Bridge on the Olympic Peninsula. While not many of us can make it down for SSFC home matches or ECS-sanctioned meetings, that doesn't mean we don't support the Rave Green. Many of us simply have our own ways of celebrating and cheering on Sigi and the guys, mainly on TV (sometimes in HD), though either KONG/KING, or ESPN, or even, as of the 2012 season, the NBC Sports Network (currently Versus). The brats (and other things of the meat catagory) are always ready on the Foreman Grill every Matchday, the scarves are raised high in salute of our club, and the drinks, although in our house non-alcoholic, are already chilled and ready and raging full-on for a full 90. How many more Olympic Peninsula-based supporters are there here? Please make yourselves be known!!! Ray Jackson and Alice Yantz loyal Sounders FC Supporters since the get-go (2009) Port Townsend, Washington Where we're always Ready for Fredy!!! (#17 is #1!!!)
