Toda la defensa titular en este equipo es mejor que la defensa mayor, que es un asco total y hasta El Salvador los hizo sufrir. Lamentablemente muchos jugadores mexicanos tendrían que estar en Europa y no lo están, y lo peor es que tal vez algunos ni lleguen a estarlo, no por la calidad, sino por los dirigentes. Jaime Lozano, no es por este juego, pero ojo con él, hay pocos técnicos mexicanos inteligentes y con conceptos modernos de fútbol, Jaime es uno de ellos, pase lo que pase, debe tener un lugar privilegiado en las fuerzas básicas y equipos juveniles en México. Luis Romo, Europa te espera, creo que este fue su mejor juego como seleccionado, se está quitando ese nerviosismo de pasar a ser jugador de selección.

En México te estancas en determinado momento. Aguirre, Vasquez, Montes, Sánchez, Romo, Rodríguez, Cordova, Vega, y Antuna. Todos pueden jugar en Europa fácilmente, variaría la calidad de equipos y las ligas, pero todos podrían ser recibidos en Europa. El problema? La cantidad de dinero que pedirán por ellos...

Mexico played well, but we can't judge this team, especially Lozano based off one game. This was an even game where both teams attacked. The talent showed up and Mexico won the game, but again this game and opponent doesn't compare to what the senior team faces in Concacaf. Every team in concacaf sits back all game with 10 guys defending which makes our offense look non creative and then they counter with fast players which makes our defenders look slow and bad. Mexico has always looked good against teams that don't bunker, and we've seen that multiple times before. And yes this team does have good individual talent. A number of these players should be able to crack the top 23 for next years world cup.
Anyone who bothered to check France's squad in the past week figured Mexico was the favourite, and by a margin. There's a reason Thauvin and Gignac are the refuerzos instead of literally anybody else.

It's not even their B or their C team. And that's fine! Mexico needs to show authority when they face vastly inferior teams in these circumstances! But goddamn we need to be a little more faithful in our kids, especially when they have had months of preparation vs potpourri teams that have barely had time to meet together.
