They acknowledged it by playing them. That's a non-issue on my book. Again, medals are awarded to federations/countries, not a people, race or culture. The DDR no longer exists.
Bender brothers so bad so slow losing every ball need like 20 seconds to make a simple pass and end up losing the ball, defensively being slow and always late they both have like 5 fouls each already
This was always going to be a difficult match. Brazil dominated the opening 25 or so minutes before we reasserted some semblance of control. One of the Bender bros has to be taken off though. Against stronger opposition it is clear they don't work together.
Germany actually going quite well defensively to limit Brazil's combinations in final third. Additionally they are getting enough joy in attack to score at least one goal. Unfortunately the attacking players have been very poor. Max Meyer and Julian Brandt have been appalling in their decision making and touch and Selke a black hole as always who adds absolutely nothing to the team. Only player who did something was Gnabry with his direct play but he too faded as the game progressed. Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk
Silver medal is still a great achievement for a team that was cobbled together from spare parts with barely a week to go.
Germany had the better chances but Brazil controlled the have. We are a bit careless with the ball and most passes are going array. We need to be quicker with the ball as Brazil is doing a great job pressing. Selke needs to be more pressing and Brandt needs to get his passing under control. Serge is dangerous every time he has the ball. We need to get him the ball more often. We can't maintain possession and if we can't do a better with that the players will run out of steam chasing the Brazillian players all over the field...
I don't know that I'd characterize the attackers' play as poor. Brazil is really solid at every level defensively, and the midfield is struggling to get them the ball in advantageous positions.
Be that as it may, both Brandt and Meyer have struggled to make most of some very promising transition opportunities with either bad decisions or poor touches. Thats not due to Brazil's defending, just Germany's incompetence Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk
The way Neymar celebrated his goal all of Germany's players didnt celebrate their seven goals combined as much
We are playing better than I thought we would. Brazil have the better players so I expect them to win.
