I've gotten PMs about what I heard like 2 months ago so anyways... What I heard was that the Crew had lined up Jurgen Klinsman as a replacement for Andrulis but since Andrulis ended up getting some 2 wins or whatever they stuck with Andrulis. Now this is just a rumor but it came from the same source who told me Clark was cut, which even the Crew denied at first but it ended up being true. Today I read that Klinsman is off to Germany or something to get a coaching role there. I dunno. But we've probably missed our chance on anything like that. I assume McCullers will be GM. Greg will get another year if he gets us to the play-offs (no matter how bad we ******** that up afterwards) and we will continue to be a boring club that nobody wants to come to.
I would be surprised to see him take a job back in Germany, as he's all about raising his kids and enjoying his family in the good ol' U-S of A. However, if he is, then I'm very upset that the Crew would let him slip through their hands like this. He would be about 1,000 times better than Andrulis...
I just read on www.kicker.de that Klinsmann accepted the offer on Thursday. He's also going to have Oliver Bierhoff as one of his assistants. Damn shame for the Crew, damn good news for the German national team. I wonder if the Crew had signed him whether he still would have just dropped us and left immediately for the Germany job? Damn you Jim Smith! Couldn't you fcuking pull the trigger and get us a national team caliber coach?
Kraut bastard better not ever set foot in CCS again. I buy it 100%, but he would have left for the Deuschland job so it wouldn't have mattered. MLS might have given us an allocation though, which we could store with the others.

I won't take Murphy. He's not a big name to be honest. We need an someone who was a player. Someone who commands the respect of the team and MLS.
