Re: The Multimedia Thread [R] First of all, I was refering to Pauleta having Baby hairs not Gomes. No I didn't Jump on the bandwagon as of late. I've supported Pauleta, But somehow he hasn't played to his ability in the Big Games. Nuno Gomes is Good and He has contributed alot to the NT, I'm hoping he will be the key in Euro 2008.
Re: The Multimedia Thread [R] It's funny how Pauleta was buried on the depth chart before Euro 2000 and it was Nuno that got the chance when Sa Pinto got hurt just before our first game. Nuno took that opportunity and ran with it, scoring the winner against England in our famous comeback, both goals against Turkey in the quarters(Both were great setups from Figo and our only goal against France in the semi's. So what happens?, Nuno gets an 8 month suspension for his part in the ruckus at the end of the France game. Next thing you know, Pauleta gets his chance, scores 8 goals in WC qualifying, including one in each game vs Holland and the rest is history. Poor Nuno.
