Call me over kind, but no one was hurt in the OKC tornado the other day were they. Anyone who knows someone who was hurt/lost in the tornado I'm very sorry.

While I'm on the tornado, is this going to interfere(sp?) with the soccer season if OKC or any team in Tornado Alley gets a team?

Anyone in Tornado Alley like say Dallas, KC, or Columbus?

The DC Metro area was hit with a tornado last year.

Plus, three teams are on the eastern seaboard, which make them vulnerable to hurricanes.

Two teams in CA, vulnerable to siesmic activity.

Meteors are always a danger. As is swimming too soon after eating.

Are you kidding me? Tornados are a fact of life and to be honest it's very rare that one hits the metro.

A few years ago Ft. Worth got hit with a tornado yet still I see the Burn playing in the Metroplex.

A tornado was on the ground for almost 80 miles in Kansas yesterday (thankfully out in BFE) but KC Wiz still plays.

I can't believe this even has a poll.

Hands down dumbest poll I have ever seen.

I mean, what's the name of the San Jose franchise. The freaking Earthquakes and for a good reason. I guess that's just another reason to move San Jose, eh?

"Meteors are always a danger. As is swimming too soon after eating."

    Classic.

The braintrusts of the Chicago Mustangs evidently weren't afraid of tornadoes. Despite the presence of severe thunderstorms & very real tornado warnings during the evening of a scheduled game at Comiskey back in '68, the show went on. Twisters indeed touched down throughout Chicagoland during the match, at which attendance was recorded at around 300. Guess no weather is too tough for pro soccer!

This is a poll issue? One of my bank's branches WAS located on I-240 and Sooner road, where the tornado went through yesterday. Notice I said WAS. It's now located across a few hundred yards of rubble.

Back to the issue at hand. Acts of nature are something every city has to deal with, regardless of location in this country. It's no reason not to expand in OK.

the ground there is awfully flat. Could that somehow effect their chances? And I heard that it sometimes rains. That could throw the schedule off.
