"Amusingly" as Dan would say, I've read two things recently about the new stadium. First was that the water nearby is so foul with sewage that it's unsafe to be nearby. Second, that Marion Barry (yes, THAT Marion Barry) is being returned to the DC City COuncil, and he is foursquare opposed to the stadium. He thinks the money should be spent on social welfare and he intends to fight it tooth and nail.
