While we all know he has tens of thousands of people willing to commit war crimes for him, we also know he is more than capable of taking matters into his own hands.

 

Well, leaving aside the Cheney death squad for a moment, that was a version of the argument by that legal guy on Brian Taylor Cohen's thing the other day... that it would be better for all concerned if Biden doesn't give these people a pardon when they've done nothing wrong.

If Trump then has them arrested they have to go before a court somewhere and, even with the most 'onside' judge they'd have to make a show of 'presenting evidence' and, of course, there isn't any and that would become obvious.

With Hunter Biden there was at least some wrongdoing to be pardoned.

Been thinking a lot lately about how the founding mythology of infinite resources and opportunity, here for all who but seize it, takes a dark turn* into too many people going after too few (available) resources and opportunities, with the double-whammy that the fortunate ones who already *have* grabbed opportunities and resources are scripturally justified in castigating the poor folks who never got on the train.

It's his mom. She was head of the SBA last time so I technically worked for her and was there when she visited our office. Not to mention was there when the federal shutdown happened and I was laid off.
