No, there was no place for that here. And you're right, we do learn a lot about people here. You're the one who made it personal.
The Government just fucked my family's livelihood.Literally destroyed it overnight with the Hemp provision.I will not be voting in 2026 or 2028.The GOP sucks and will sell out to lobbies and Big donors at the expense of the American people.Fuck the Government. https://t.co/CWjDzaBwLs— Evan Kilgore 🇺🇸 (@EvanAKilgore) November 14, 2025 Leopards are high on pot now
"They can't mean us though, right? We're a model minority" Some Indian American conservatives seem shocked that segments of the political right are now taking aim at them. When Democrats won big on election night, Ramaswamy advised Republicans to “cut out the identity politics,” saying “we don’t care about the color of your skin or your religion. We care about the content of your character.” After one X user said that the existence of Indians disgusted them, Dinesh D’Souza, the right-wing commentator who has peddled racism against Black Americans for decades, mused: “In a career spanning 40 years, I have never encountered this type of rhetoric. The Right never used to talk like this. So who on our side has legitimized this type of vile degradation?” https://www.cnn.com/2025/11/16/us/indian-americans-racism-maga-cec
I needed that laugh this Sunday Morning. It asks the question whatever happened to that report the GOP did post Obama winning in 2008?
There's a video clip of a Vivek Q&A/speech with TPUSA getting bodied by racist questions last month. He thought he was giving a speech to like-minded people while running for governor of Ohio. It was mostly about why he thought he could be a governor even though he isn’t a Christian. Dinesh. Vivek, Dinesh and Kash Patel will never be fully accepted by the MAGA world for the same reason why Bobby Jindal and Nikki Haley altered their names. Trust me, as a hispanic kid in the southern 1980s, it would have been easier to have a more mainstream name. But it was something my sisters and I just had to put up with. What I can't understand is why Dinesh thought the call was coming from outside the house.
Because Dinesh would have had to do some deep reflection on his life if he came to grips with the call coming from inside the house
MTG having a Leopards eating her face moment. Kudos to her for saying she is changing her behavior now, but in my mind she still has some atonement to do if she is, in fact, changing her ways..
She's a ghoul and should be treated as one. No one should platform her. Be better to perform an exorcism on her than engage her in rhetoric.
The MTG redemption arc is gonna be about the 19th most unbelievable part of the future prestige series about Our Times. We’ve seen so many impossible things, hell, this might be another.
Because he comes from an elite segment of society in India (Portuguese decedents) where their racism matched with the racism of the US - dark people are to be looked down upon. He thought he would be elite here, but turns out he discovered he's "dark" too.
I don't even know what this means. Pot is illegal Federally -- but all the legal pot is based on state law. What am I missing? And did RFK Jr. have anything to say about it?
She's gonna have to atone for a lot. A hell of a lot. But there are examples of this happening. Before I moved to Milwaukee, there was a shooting at a Sikh temple that killed several performed by a White supremacist. Forget what happened to him (killed or life in prison), but one of the guys in his group saw the response of the Sikh community. He had already been thinking about his position of hate as he was estranged from his kid and his kid's mom, and it was because of his hate. But the response of the Sikh community is what made him step away. And he eventually started working with the Sikh community and other groups to try and combat that hate and racism towards, specifically the Sikh community, but other groups as well. Mind, from what I've read about him and heard him talk (I think a TED talk), he has markedly changed, but he is not somebody I think I politically align with. Still, he cannot stand White supremacists/supremacy even if he understands it's existence. So, did MTG have her epiphany? Maybe, but I don't think she'll ever be a Democrat. But I wonder if she'll still be a devote of Trump.
This is about THC, specifically. And the selling of THC products is allowed, currently. Or was. https://www.axios.com/2025/11/15/thc-hemp-products-ban-shutdown-bill Congress rallied to pass a spending bill that ended the record-long government shutdown, but it came with a price: much of the legal cannabis industry. The big picture: A last-minute provision in the spending bill criminalized many hemp-derived products, despite the objection of businesses, lobbying groups, and lawmakers with stakes in the $28 billion industry. Several states use hemp taxes to fund addiction services, county budgets and public health programs, industry experts told CNBC this week. Driving the news: The provision reversed the legal sale of hemp products outlined by the 2018 Farm Bill, which included many THC-infused products.
She is garbage …. Her latest act can’t erase her years of being toxic and insane. She has a long way to go! Let’s see how long that act will last… don’t get me wrong though, I am glad that is happening and creating more division and chaos within the cult.
That's a wonderful redemption arc. Truly. Problem is, MTG isn't the one who walked away. She's the shooter.
A prominent weed businessman here in Detroit (And by prominent I mean billboards everywhere, think TV lawyers) was named envoy to Iraq under Trump. I wonder what's going through his mind with all this.
We once called Ana Navarro a jackal and now we watch arm and arm with her. What's going to be really interesting Jamie all get out of this Foxhole how do we return to our lives
This is a clear win for private prisons. They have unfilled beds and when they get to under 80% people don't get their bonuses
I disagree. She is the one who has been advocating for the release of the Epstein files even while Trump said "no." She has also said she supports SNAP benefits as it is personal to her (I think though one of her grown children). This is similar to the White supremacist I described, who promoted the hate and knew the guy who did the shooting. But he had events in his life that made him think differently. And it was the response to the shooting that made him think differently. To me, it is Trump's response to her supporting releasing the Epstein files that might be the break. Not saying it will be, but I do see a parallel. Mind, as I did say, she has a lot to atone for. And I'm not giving her an easy pass just because of those two things (SNAP and Epstein files). But I am wondering if she will no longer blindly side with Trump. That will be interesting, and will show another indication (long with Boebert not succumbing to the strong arming) that Trump's influence over at least the House is starting to wane.
I’m having a hard time believing she is 100% honest in her intentions here. However, she was early on the Trump train, vociferously. She sided with Kevin McCarthy on a few things and I believe she is truly upset that the GOP has control of all 3 branches and is doing f******** all to follow through on promises to deliver legislation for the base, even if said legislation is a disaster. She has been passed over for any appointments in the Trump admin, got kicked out of the Freedom Caucus, and is generally homeless and powerless in Congress. They gave her the chair for the DOGE committee, which she took seriously and I think made an honest attempt to run it well, but that committee ended up being essentially useless. I think she’s furious that she has been so sidelined and is trying to find a new path to being taken seriously and made relevant. Good luck Marge. I endorse you taking this journey and hopefully dragging some others along with you, but I’m keeping you at arms length.
She's learning what happens when you hitch yourself to a pathological narcissist. You think they are a normal human who cares about others, but then you eventually find out they don't give a crap about you, your wants, your needs or your ambition.
