"All Lives Matter! MAKE AMERICA HEALTHY AGAIN! THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!!!" --Probably.
There are plenty of people who did not vote for this who are suffering at least as much, often times a lot more, than the people who have been the subject matter of this topic. There is something bizarre about expecting folks to have compassion for the groups that are actively trying to harm them. Or leveling accusations of "psychopathy" at them for failing to muster that sentiment. I would categorize those folks instead as having a normal sense of their self-worth.
For everyone else to remember, there are more blue voters in Texas than red ones. Heck, more blue voters than almost any other state in the Union. Texas, unfortunately, isn't a democracy though so here we are. ....it also has some of the worst, most vile people this country has. And a lot of them.
Thank you so much. The rest of these posters expect me to sympathize with people who have my death in mind, and they drop posts irresponsibly referencing nihilism and/or telling us whose death we should not celebrate. The tentacles of White privilege are long and powerful, I tell you that...
I don’t expect compassion. Not everybody can be a Christian. But some get chubbies from the pain of the other side. That’s psychopathic.
If that’s true, how come Republicans win all the statewide races? It can’t be gerrymandering. I’m guessing there’s a typo or something in there for you to correct.
I agree everyone is morally responsible for their individual choices. However we know in the aggregate, propaganda and misinformation is effective because the population are stupid compared to the bad guys. This is why we regulate the sale of unregistered securities for example. You can say everyone who falls for a financial scam is a greedy fool - but most of the blame is with the bad actors. Unfortunately these health questions are an area where stupid people fall for disinfo in large numbers. See for example the current anti-vaxx movement led by RFK.
Devout Christians all over the country voted for the deportation of POCs, the subjugation of women and gays. You tell me why YOU think you can be associated with then without getting fleas. Tell us you have zero experience being dehumanized by an entire race of predators without saying you have zero experience being dehumanized over centuries by an entire race of predators. You people used to attend lynchings after church, mother ********er. I'll be using your posts as examples of how privilege makes some of you blind to injustice. Join the reality based world anytime you're ready to face your own ugly mug in the mirror
Not everybody wants to be a damn Christian. Some of us get pressured into it by families who are obsessed with it. I don't hold enough animosity toward oppressed minorities to be serious about it.
. What blatant hypocrisy you engage in. From my personal experiences Christians are the least likely to demonstrate compassion to others. They are much better at showing hatred, enmity, judgment and arrogance than they are compassion.
This is where you’re wrong Dave. It’s the self inflicted pain and suffering that brings me joy, not just general pain and suffering. Though for Trump I’d make an exception for that rule. And anyone in the administration. And anyone who joined ICE after he won. And anyone who remained at ICE when it was clear what was gonna happen.
In my experience maybe like 5% of Christians are compassionate? Just a guess. The rest are fake pious wannabes or actual haters of different sub groups. Millions blindly call this place a "Christian country" even with our putrid human rights record both here & abroad. What Belgian said. No compassion for those buttwipes who voted to harm so many. They are the enemy.
I dunno what makes someone a psychopath. I dunno what Bolton is being indicted for and as such dunno if he's innocent of it or not. I also dunno if Bolton has done things bad that deserve having bad luck So I've no clue yes or no.
