The generational divide upon what to wear is certainly noted. Almost nobody under the age of 50 or so gets dressed up unless it's Christmas, Easter or they're in the family of the baptism or first communion. Meanwhile, the megachurch pastors are in jeans and hoodies.
His opponent was Dr Oz and he hadn't become an IC yet Many fireable offenses just in the last year, Pennsyltuckians. F this slovenly Lurch: (Wiki) After Donald Trump won the 2024 United States presidential election, Fetterman expressed willingness to vote to confirm some of Trump's cabinet appointees, including Marco Rubio for Secretary of State, Pete Hegseth for Secretary of Defense, and Elise Stefanik for United States ambassador to the United Nations. He visited Trump's Mar-a-Lago complex and worked with Republicans on the Laken Riley Act. Fetterman was the only Democrat who voted to confirm Trump's nominee Pam Bondi as United States Attorney General. In December 2024, Fetterman asked Democrats to "chill out" after Trump won, saying, "If you're rooting against the president, you are rooting against the nation, and I'm not ever going to be where I want a president to fail. So country first."
I for one was wrong about Lamb as a...lamb. Definitely a milquetoast vibe is what got laid on him, and with that and Opie looks it's been an uphill climb. I was pissed he entered the Senate race and threw a (my) House seat up for grabs, luckily it stayed blue. Lamb is definitely playing the "where are you, John Fetterman?" card at live events and it's getting traction. The return leg will go differently, methinks.
Wasn't Fetterman a popular lieutenant governor? Having won statewide office before gives someone a big advantage.
Yes he was quite a popular Lt Governor, but since soon after becoming a Senator he has been steadily pissing away all of that goodwill.
Which I find weird. From everything I read about him during his campaign, he seemed fairly progressive. And that stretched back to his time as mayor.
Once you're a US Senator, bags of money wind up on your desk. You dont know exactly where they came from, but if you're smart, you can figure out what's expected of you.
Weird indeed. It's like an off-worlder took over his body when he was an inpatient at Oliver Reed, soon after taking office.
Wow. Peewee German citing Fetterman positively for the NG remaining in DC https://bsky.app/profile/atrupar.com/post/3m2kdn3rcqh2d
Moron finds out what late term abortion means 1976071288788803680 is not a valid tweet id It would TL DR but it is too great to not see it
Assuming it is real, it's the only way they will learn; one at a time when their own life, or possibly the life of a loved one, is in danger. Otherwise, they are more than happy to make other people suffer and die because of their religion, stupidity, bigotry and cruelty.
In 2024, white women voted 52 / 47 in favor of Trump. I was hopeful they would help put Harris over the top but here we are and the consequences are brutal for pregnant women in shithole states
"Liberal doctor?" That husband will probably blame liberals if that baby dies in utero and then the mother dies, despite the doctor's medical expertise. And we should not be celebrating this. It is really sad.
I doubt if this video is real, which isn't to say that some real Texan women won't find themselves in this exact situation.
I think it was ProPublica who did something on this which I posted a few months go. Found it: https://www.propublica.org/article/texas-abortion-ban-sepsis-maternal-mortality-analysis
it's already happening - Valenti has written about this quite a bit The 3 exceptions are a scam because of the difficulty in being able to actually access those procedures when you need them. IIRC recently one state argued before the Supreme Court that even loss of an internal organ would not justify an abortion
