He's hurt - missed Anderlecht's last game (came out in the 15th minute the game before). If he recovers, he might be added for the two Euro USMNT games.
https://www.ussoccer.com/stories/20...nt-kenny-saief-departs-mnt-camp-due-to-injury Apparently he can't shake the knock he took at the end of the season and has left camp to recover with his club. Bummer.

Anderlecht had friendlies vs PSV and Ajax last week - Kenny did not play vs PSV, and from what I can tell, he didn't play vs Ajax either. Not sure if he's still injured (but then why did he start a few days ago?) or if these friendlies were more like tryouts for the younger players / trialists. Here's a picture of Kenny watching the match vs PSV.
Kenny did a small interview in English for Anderlecht a few weeks back, talking about his injury during the US camp. From that video, it's unclear if he was training with the team or by himself. I think we'll find out more about his health tomorrow when Anderlect play Rennes (potential dual-national yank-on-yank violence with Jordy). Also, Kenny delivered a lawnmower to some fans: Kenny Saief, Hein Vanhaezebrouck en Gino Caen verrassen de winnaar van de Purple Pelouse-wedstrijd van BLACK+DECKER! 👌Kenny Saief, Hein Vanhaezebrouck et Gino Caen surprennent le gagnant du concours Purple Pelouse de BLACK+DECKER! 👍 pic.twitter.com/h9u84oDAM1— RSC Anderlecht (@rscanderlecht) July 18, 2018 He really is Vanhaezebrouck's favorite.

Still out injured https://www.anderlecht-online.be/nl/article/172155 When going over the injured players "Kenny Saief is still rehabilitating and the others are training."
Manager says he should be available for selection this weekend: Coach: "Teo, Najar and Kara are not ready for the selection. Saief should be fit within one week" #RSCA #CHAAND— RSC Anderlecht (@rscanderlecht) August 10, 2018 I'm not exactly sure how to digest the relevant sentence, but a loose translation suggests that the problem is with his hamstrings. Or maybe that only applied to Najar.
Sounds like Kenny still isn't fully fit - http://www.voetbalnieuws.be/news/32...-vervanger-cobbaut-deden-we-vorig-seizoen-ook This isn't the only outlet reporting this news. Hopefully he's ready next week.
What's up with this guy? It's been a while he's been back from injury but he's not even making the 18 any more. Any news?
Literally no one but the medical staff knows: https://www.voetbalkrant.com/nl/nie...j-anderlecht-nog-steeds-niet-kunnen-hervatten The article says he was back training with the team last week, but left out of training again on Friday and hasn't been back since. All the club will say is that it's a "muscle injury". This article suggests that he re-injured it during training, and that the injury is more complicated than it first seemed.

This pic reminds me of a Brazilian video where a good looking guy is making eye contact with girls at a mall's eating area and the girls would give him the go-ahead look and the guy would stand up and pull out a blind man's cane and walk way.
