sorry to post this in your forums ..!!

But Besiktas is heavily linked with Iranian National midfidlers Javad Nekonam.

the 24 year old midfielder is 1 of the best def mid fielders in asia and besiktas wants to sign him
but the iranian natioonal player will travel to Tottenham in a few days for a trial as Tottenham wishes to sign him..he have stated Besiktas is his 2nd option if a contract fails with Tottenham..!!

:) he is an amazing player and Besiktas should be happy to buy such a caliber player

Fener have signed Ghanain international Stephen Appiah from Juventus. This will only help an already stellar midfield. So far this has to be the biggest signing of the off season in Turkish Super League.

    Ailton quits Bundesliga for Besiktas
    Wednesday, 20 July 2005
Besiktas JK have signed FC Schalke 04 striker Ailton for €3.5m to fill the void left by the Olympique Lyonnais-bound John Carew.

    Three-year deal
The 32-year-old Brazilian has put pen to paper on a three-year contract, bringing to an end a successful seven-year stay in the German Bundesliga. Ailton moved to Werder Bremen in 1998 and went on to score 89 goals in 169 league appearances. Last summer, he switched to Schalke and averaged a goal every other game, with 14 in 28 starts, as the Gelsenkirchen club finished second to qualify for the 2005/06 UEFA Champions League.

    Nearing end
"This was my last big move," said Ailton, who has also played for Guarani FC and Santa Cruz FC in his homeland. "After two more years everything will finish for me and I will return to Brazil. Schalke have also received some cash in exchange for my services which is good."

    European ambition
Besiktas, who sold Norway striker Carew to Lyon last month for €7.7m, will enter the UEFA Cup in next month's second qualifying round after finishing fourth in the 2004/05 Superleague. They will learn their opponents when the draw is held at 14.00CET on 29 July at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland

There have been many rumors that Celtic were going to sign him. However, Celtic has denied the rumors of the deal.

I have no idea what will happen to Alpay. Alpay has been told by his Japanese side Urawa Red Diamonds that they no longer want him...

    Fenerbahce Chase Saudi Star

Hot Saudi prospect Yasser Al-Qahtani is attracting interest from outside the Middle-East.
Turkish giants Fenerbahce have expressed an interest in the speedy striker who has become a star for his club Al-Qadsiya and his country.

In July, Asian champions Al-Ittihad bid a substantial $6 million for Al-Qahtani, an amount that was readily accepted by his present club. However, the player wanted instead to join rivals Al Hilal and refused to join Ittihad.

With such confusion reigning the Istanbul club are hoping to take advantage and grab the international.

Don't think it will happen but if it does Fener will have a good player.

Although he is a bit of a Primadonna
