    Offseason 2008: What’s Morrow Building?
The plan is starting to come into focus, but not all the pieces are in place.

Great piece. Hope Morrow is not being too ambitious with all the rotating tactics and players. He is either on to something and everyone else will be forced to copy or ahead of his time in terms of the ability of his players to adjust to being with different players at any time and all sorts of different tactics and positions.

BTW, weren't you going to do a Ruiz piece?

Does DouDou count as one of the strikers Morrow has referred to signing? I saw in the match report they have filed a discovery on him, so I was trying to connect dots.

i don't think so, morrow was talking to me about proven strikers when he said there were 2. Not project 16 year olds.

    Buzz,

do you know the 'proven strikers' he's thinking of and just can't tell us?

Or if he hasn't told you... who are two 'proven strikers' that are available that he could be looking at?

You mean, he didn't trust you w/ the story about the Chelsea striker who has an American wife and kids that she wants raised in America?

Not my place to comment, but that's no way to be.

Him and Davino were teamates a few years back with Club America.

I hope someone knows some good things about Navia. The videos I'm able to find show a striker that creates little for himself yet finishes a lot of other player's efforts.

He does love to party that is why he was kicked off the Chilean national team.

don't read the following. it is just a typing exercise:

isn't this the fellow that 3rd liked so much after Navia's Mex. league team played at PHP a coupla years back? iirc Tigres, it was?

[[note to self: stop relying on memory w/o going to http://www.3rddegree.net or else google first]]

edit: if it's the same guy, he was never on Tigres, maybe I'm thinking of Navia appearing at PHP with Monterrey possibly early in '06?????
