    Yes, Sir!!!!!

I tend to be a bit prejudiced in this regard, we had a Brazilian family living next to us for six years.

I agree. If you're going to watch baseball why waste your money on the Giants? The A's are a much better value.

Or if you are down in San Diego, the Padres park is a great place to spend an afternoon.

Yes to this! Except that I hate the way the Netherlands play. Yuck.

Spain have never won it, so I'd be alright with Spain winning.

Argentina again would be disappointing, but they are damned good. It's been forever since Uruguay won, and they are a very small country, so that would be good too.

    GO USA!!! :(
    GO QUAKES!! :D

i might just go take this in here in San Diego. its been a while...i havent been to a padres game since they played against the giants opening day at ATT park in 2007.

heck i havent even been in PETCO. the last home game was in Jack Murphy Stadium.

and for the world cup, URU- GHA is looking as a good game so far.

I particularly like how the ref isn't buying most of the flopping so it's lessening in the second half.

As for PETCO, I'd highly recommend it. It's like a more affordable AT&T without the spalsh hits and yuppies. It's a particularly great place to visit if you're a vet, servicememeber, or just support the military (even more so on Sundays).

Whatever happened to "total football?" The present version hardly seems adequate.

No, I dislike that leg-breaking turd with every fiber of my being. That being said, I love the fact that Brazil is out, I was getting really tired of them wining it all the time.

Germany is kicking the crap out of Argentina, literally. It's not even a contest.

I can't tell you how happy i am that the Argies are out. I take particular delight in watching that fat, socialist coke fiend's anguish. No Argentina, No Brazil...hehehehe

Germany is far more "socialist" than Argentina or Brazil for that matter. Just fyi.

Might be but I doubt it and I don't care. I was referring to Maradona, friend to Castro and Chavez.

i really dont care about his view on politics. the point is he and his team are out of the world cup and no one has to take him up on his offer to mosey along Buenos Aires sans clothing.

no one needs to see that. id rather Kei Kamara come back to SJ than see that.

I don't think I've ever seen back to back pk saves from both teams in any game especially not in a span of two minutes.......

The redo of the second PK was interesting given that there was also encroachment and possibly the gk coming off his line for the first one.

I don't think Spain looks like a team that can beat Germany. Though maybe that's what it would take to elicit a smile from del Bosque.

That, and three posts hit on two shots to make one goal.
