Serbian have dropped 4 from the squad leaving it to 24 players now http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/world_cup_2010/8676508.stm
Thanks for the warm up game, hopefully it would put more resolved in your game. (it certainly gave us more encouragement to get pass our group as well). Good luck for the WC.
Even though were were missing some of our more important players I still expected a better performance, but it's better to get a wake up call right now than at the World Cup. New Zealand played harder and deserved the win , you are very organized and won't make it easy for teams to score.
Who'll be Superstars by the end of the World Cup? http://www.thebigtip.com.au/footbal...superstars-by-the-end-of-the-world-cup-part-1 A leading figure in CSKA Moscow’s surprise run to the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals last season, Milos Krasic has established himself as one of European football’s most solid midfielders, and will be Serbia’s go to man in South Africa. It is players like Krasic that has many predicting Serbia to be somewhat of a dark horse come World Cup time, despite being pitted alongside three time World Champions Germany during the group stages. An attacking midfielder with great vision, Krasic’s services will prove invaluable to Serbia, and his combination with Inter Milan player Dejan Stankovic may just prove decisive in allowing the European nation to re-affirm their status as South Africa’s dark horse.
