I figured that someone better start the offficial thread. Who is going to be doing the cutting and pasting from Ussoccer.com to Bigsoccer.com? Any takers?
Pretty sure you can't cut and paste from a flash program, which matchtracker is. So whoever does pbp will have to re-type everything that matchtracker spits out. A little more work for whoever volunteers.
Re: Re: Official U-17 Matchtracker US-Jamaica [r] The person, or persons, can just put things in their own words which will be faster and work better.
It will likely be, as usual, the same person who does the pbp and will just be things about the crowd and weather and line-ups and little tidbits, etc. Here's the link to USsoccer. Just click the banner near the top for Matchtracker. http://www.ussoccer.com/home/default.sps
I just know that Jamaican sites are linking to USsoccer also so I doubt if they have any radio. I believe this is all there will be. Someone put this on another thread. Perhaps it has something. Not sure. ********* There's a Guatemalan sports radio station that has real audio (they have a game involving the league team Municipal on right now). http://www.lared.com.gt This is the simplest web page I've ever seen for a radio station. There is no schedule, nothing, just links to three speeds for the real audio connex. If you understand Spanish it might be worth a shot.
checking this out now... came up with this in the process: Young Boyz take on United States - Jamaica Gleaner i saw no mentioning of the matches receiving air time... but here are some direct links to jamaican radio: Power 106 low quality - Real Audio Power 106 hi quality - Real Audio Radio2 - Shoutcast taken from socceraudio.com -jim
Radio 2 has just started with Arnett Gardens vs. Necaxa in the FC Champions Cup. "You're listening to the never ending Mexican National Anthem."
Hmmm....could be wrong but if memory serves, the first ever Bigsoccer pbp was for the U-17s back in the Landon/DaMarcus days. We've come full circle!
Unless one of those Jamaican links is doing it, nowhere. As I said, I doubt they are since the Jamaican sites are linking to Matchtracker also.
Found a live radio link from Guatemala: http://axil.gua.net:8000/playlist.pls?mount=/icy_0&file=dummy.pls
