The intense meeting discussion that has been going on via email could certainly be moved here no? It's not like anybody is going to show up unwanted. We want as many supporters and opinions as possible, right?

Also, as per the meeting, we still need elections for a spokesperson and what not, but I'll volunteer to be the moderator of the meeting unless anybody has any objections. I'd draw up a little schedule of things to discuss, have an open forum session, and just run stuff for our first meeting. Thoughts?

I wish I lived closer so I could participate more. Travel and time constraints keep me from being more active, but if there's a meeting next Sunday, I'll try my best to be there.

It looks like it might be Sunday at 8 pm for the supporters meeting. Also Friday at 8 pm is in play as well.

I'm thinking of watching the Copa Libertadores championship game Boca Juniors v. Grêmio on Wednesday at Farolito in the Mission. I guess it starts at 5:45 pm. Planning on handing out the Victory schedules that I have. Is anyone else interested in checking it out?

Thanks for the transparency Sko16! Could you please let us know where the meeting will be held? I'm assuming the Kezar?

I don't think we have decided yet. Let's set this in stone:

    Sunday
    8PM
Probably either Kezar or Pig & Whistle (input please)
Anybody is welcome but write down some ideas and be prepared to discuss

I thought I was. But was trying to figure out what content was intense. Sorry, just misunderstood.

I suggest Kezar. First, because I don't like Pig N Whistle. Second, it would be good to start getting associated as a group in the context of the Pub. They'll see us together and will identify us as patrons who support the football club that plays right around the way.

As an agenda item before that meeting, I wanted to bring up the 1906 Supporters jersey that I was thinking about ordering. The only pressure in bringing it up now is that I would love to have group jerseys before the Timbers Match, which means I wold have to order them soon. There's a whole other thread where the discussion is happening, but wanted to present the idea of having all of us get one. It's a bold proposal, I know. I'm open to feedback.

Sunday at 8 is fine for me. And Im up for going to any pub, but I dont like the idea of us forming some relation with kezar pub, even though I hate it there. So I'd say meet at kezar, it will be slow in the back room on a sunday night.

Hey all big happenings in San Jose Saturday night. The Seals are on the road to play the Frogs this is the only real bay area derby we have. Anyway a bunch of us are talking about making the roadie to PAL and see the game. Sangreazul from the Seals is suppling the grill and the beer we just need to show up with something to grill and a bit thirsty :D . This would be a great opportunity for the 1906 to support San Francisco soccer and another great way to get together. More info to follow. Hope we can get a few of our guys and girls down there. The game is at 7:30 tailgate before not sure of time yet.

    Thanks for the help.

Anyone who is interested in being part of the 1906 can attend. As far as I am concerned anyone with good ideas can attend whether they wish to participate further or not.

There's a USL1 game every Friday night on FSC. Vics have three but no home games.
