I haven't been here for a while, but I know we have a huge game vs. Iran Wednesday. Is there anyway to watch the game here in the US like on satellite or an online stream??? Thanks!

That was 1 of the worst matches I've seen, very violent fouls from both teams but sadeghi did NOT deserve a red!

Egyptian defender Ahmad Mustafa has signed a one-year contract for Majd, first division club based in Damascus.

Mustafa will receive US Dollar 750 per month.

He was included in Majd line up during the match between Majd and Hurria in the Professional Soccer League third week where the match ended 1-0 in favour of Majd. ‏

During the said match, Mustafa was benched in the second half because of injury. ‏

It is worthy to note that Majd manager Eng. Fayez Kharrat has resigned or was asked to resign by the governing body of sports in Damascus. ‏

Majd sources said that chairman of General Sprots Federation Damascus branch Salah Ramadan might appoint Ahmad Siyoufi as Khayats replacement. ‏

The junior Syrian national soccer team have hammered their Lebanese counterparts 9-3 in a one-sided match at the U-17 Arab Cup qualifiers at the Jalaa Stadium in Damascus.

Striker Suleiman opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a powerful drive just outside the penalty box. ‏

Mohammad Abbadi made it 2-0 in the 26th minute. Mandou scored the third in the 30th minute. Six minutes later, Abbadi hit home. ‏

Mohammad Zeitoun, Abdul Nasser Hasan, Ayman Salal and Mohammad Darwish scored for Syria in the second half (59, 65, 77, 85, 90). ‏

Qassim Manaa and Husein Awada scored for Lebanon (61-62-83). ‏

Syrias group includes: Lebanon and Iraq. ‏

Top and runners up will automatically qualify for the finals which will be staged in Saudi Arabia in 2007. ‏
