    UPDATE: Please note that the Charter Member program ran for 6 months and was established to provide the group with an operating budget in lieu of actual membership dues.

    Re: SoB :: Charter Membership

    we're still determining what benefit(s) the charter members will receive - all reasonable suggestions will be considered.

    for the time being, check out the SoB Charter Members Page.

    Re: SoB :: Charter Membership

    Just thinking out loud, but I know that the Barra Brava and Screaming Eagles give a jersey with membership...maybe our first year when we have real membership dues the charter members get a different colored jersey or something. I just don't want anything to get in the way of the whole "standing together" ideology that I think we're trying to attain...like we don't want to make people feel inferior that aren't charter members in the future, but at the same time we need to give a benefit now other than just "oh I'm helping out"

    Andy is working on a membership card template plus we have created a Charter Member page that will be up ad infinitum. But I would like to add one more thing..

    Charter Members get Yellow jerseys, all others get Carolina blue, charter members sit together in the center and are flanked by the blue, thus creating a live Philadelphia flag

    What about a patch or badge? Small, simple, inexpensive, traditional.
    OR
    a small banner or replica flag

    What am I (besidez chopped liver!)?
    Don't I count? Or am I just decoration, fluff, and eye-candy?

    Re: SoB :: Charter Membership

    a patch would be great for a piece of merchandise, not necessarily for charter members but for everyone like the tshirt...how expensive is it to get an embroidered SoB patch made up? (maybe this should be in the SOB merchandise thread?)

    Agreed - but B76 indicated that he would like to offer something more to 'incentivize' potential Charters.

    Re: SoB :: Charter Membership

    Why don't we have differing, improving levels of rewards based on how much is donated..

    Say, $10 gets you a ______
    Then, $20 gets you a ______, plus a _________
    At $50, the member gets ________, ________, as well as _________.

    How about an exclusive scarf?
    Yes, you still have to pay for it, but it is available to Charter Members Only.
    Guaranteed one run only.
    You'll be the envy of all the fans who weren't there from the beginning

    MOST Excellent! :D
    One MINOR suggestion - make the T on The lower case (the).

    And the Automated Scarf Service (ASS) located on Level 3, Tier 2, will not be authorized to dispense this BEAUTY!!
    Consider one (1) ORDERED by me!!

    30 is the smallest I know of. And frankly, if we can't get 30 charters from our "membership" base, then I am starting to wonder if they just signed up for shiggles.
