I again failed the road test at Emirates Driving Institute (Dubai) today....

As I was in the Manual Gear so, I just had enough of the Road Tests..... I went to the EDI's Administration and asked them to either close my file or give me NOC so that I can go to some other Driving Centre where there's better chances than in EDI..... My 8 classes finished on 24th February 2008 and after more than 2 months, I gave the Road Test Today....and failed....

Now, I have closed my Manual gear course and have changed it to Auto-Matic.
If this time, I don't get it then I will 100% take NOC from EDI and leave to some other better Institute where the date comes early at the least.

Is there any Local Emirati on the board????? If yes, then can you give me any reference for RTA person who passes the individual in the road test? as I don't waste my money on just trying to get the licence... Now I will be going for my 1st Automatic and 4th overall Road Test. I wish I get it this time .... After failing the road test, I have paid AED 100/= for change of course (from Manual to Auto-Matic) and AED 640/= for fresh 08 classes and the road test.

 

Wow what a ripoff.

 

Damn, you should come to Riyadh. 2 days and you'll get the driving license.

i dont know if you have lived in saudi or not. but, if you have a saudi driving license, you can use it in uae to drive (you can't buy a car using it though). its even easier if you get a car from saudi, so, you don't have to renew in dubai.

 

I am born and brought-up in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I lived there for 17 years but don't have Saudi Driving Licence.

 

Guys.... Gr8 News...... I finally got the driving licence (automatic) in first attempt.... I failed the manual driving licence time & again so, I tranfered myslef to the Automatic vehicle licence and got it in the first attempt....

thanks to Almighty Allah, now my worries regarding have a driving licence here is now over... Al Hamdullilah... Moreover, I bought a Lexus (LS 400), 1990 model... it's very cool car and the most successful model in Lexus in that year....

I am very happy now, Thanks to Al Mighty Allah and all of yours prayers and well wishes off course.
