    If previous organizational patterns hold, this guy wont see the light of day of the first team pitch-- just the bench perhaps. I foresee him playing in USL Red Bull II within a matter of weeks. That's not necessarily a bad thing if he needs more development.

    I really would love to see (am looking forward to) a clarification/explanation of how it will all work when a MLS club also as a USL team.

    That is all and only reason why the second team exist, to develop and rehabilitate injury players.....

    your memory is failing you a little. In 1994, when the strike started the Montreal Expos had the best record in the league. At that time the NY Mets were 55-58, i.e. 3 games under .500, and 12.5 games back from the wild card spot.

    But I guess your larger point could still be clear that you hold long grudges against sports leagues that have labor-related league play stoppages.

    HARRISON, N.J. (March 5, 2015) – The New York Red Bulls announced today the addition of three players. The Red Bulls have signed 2015 third-round pick Shawn McLaws and Canadian international Karl Ouimette, pending approval of Ouimette’s p-1 visa and International Transfer Certificate. New York has also completed the transfer of Cameroonian striker Anatole Abang from Rainbow FC, pending approval of ITC.

    Whoa whoa whoa. Wasn't rainbow FC the same team Oyongo came from???

    Someone tried to convince me Miller might be captain as longest tenured - Dax makes the most sense to me.

    Bover is also reported to be on his way out. Too bad he didn't have the USL side last year, but he really needed to bulk up to be effective.
