Don't need to suspend the rule. Most of the time you could call it passive offside.

Of course you could never tap any in unless they came directly from a throw-in or corner kick.

    Grammar Nazi alert:

FYP. You're supposed to list the 'lesser' one first. (I wouldn't correct this, but it's becoming a trend).

But if no, can I send you a resume? I hear the environmental club has an opening. I can fake giving a rat's ass about the environment, if I can skip meetings and vacation in cool places......but I'd likely go to better soccer countries.

You could of been nicer. Its more polite, and their more likely to listen to you. Its not just my own opinion. If you ask any of my friends and I, its what we'll all tell you. Whatever. I look for the message, irregardless. Its not that important. I could care less.

    :D

My head hurts. (Btw, I've always approved of "could care less." I think it's a sarcastic expression in origin.)

Perhaps, but I've never seen it used that way.

That was great! You got me. I do try to maintain the gist of my thought in a comprehensible manner (and sometimes take grammatic liberties for emphasis), but the meaning was lost there as much as when someone misuses the word "literally". Forgive me, I was not entirely sober. You're right.

There was still no engaging going on.:D

At least our guys should know how to take advantage of Rimando's weaknesses.

It's all in fun. Let's just put it down to regional variation...

That's interesting. I didn't see it, but I'll watch for it in the future.

Ooh, I missed that Wynalda said that. Did he? hahahaha.

I heard that and laughed out loud. I dismissed it as more evidence of Wynalda's need to fill every available second of air time with his voice.

Good point. My definition of 'future' will now be restricted to 'after today'

(Until I decide it's convenient for me to change it.)

I'm all out of rep. I'm so lost without it.
I know Matt was right for teasing for so long.
I'm all out of rep. What am I without it?
I can't be too late to say that that was sooo wrong.

Repped for the reference to tragically bad music.

Unless of course Rimando decides to have a blinder vs. his old team. What are the odds of that?

At least two of the guys kicking at him are not his old team. :) He might know a few of Moreno's and Gomez's tricks, but he doesn't really know Fred and Emilio.

    Tricks?

It's Rimando. High shots to the far post should be all the tricks needed.

Er, any shot on frame has a better than 50% chance of finding Nicky out of position.

The rule for this game should be to launch as many high swinging crosses into the box as possible. We should be able to isolate on Flail-cam all night long.

Since when has DC United known how to cross? Maybe Rimando was weaker at it because of the lack of proper training he experienced in practice. ;)

I think you've hit on something.

As soon as Nicky leaves DCU, he will be discovered as the next great American goalkeeper. We were keeping him down all that time.

Burch, and Gros occasionally, give us some semblance of a crossing game.
