I haven't been able to locate it. Someone on a previous thread has supposedly seen it. I haven't been able to track that down. I think it might have been your "greendisease" thread Jim.
i downloaded it from grokster, its nothing special, unlike do the evolution or jeremy. But i still enjoyed it very much.
did anyone else get the single and have a hard time getting it out of the casing? i about cracked mine in half because i couldn't get the center portion to let go of my ************ing cd i was trying to use my keys to break the center, when they slid and scratched up the top side so bad that you would think it was a scratch on the other side i eventually got it out... but now it won't go back in... stupid ************ing casing pissed the hell out of me cd works pefectly fine though
They were on Letterman tonight and kicked ass. On a personal note Eddie Vedder's Telecaster was the best looking one I've ever seen.
I'm not a big PJ fan, but I really enjoyed their cover last night. Letterman's demeanor after the song stood in a funny contrast to the song itself. Massive props to PJ for being political on debate night -- whether I like their tunes or not, I have respect for them as musicians (this was before last night, btw). My favortie cover of Masters of War remains The Freewheelin' Mark Arm, though.
I have it on CD. If you were lucky enough to get the vinyl, they should start shipping soon. Only ~2000 vinyl released. I saw one on ebay for $330 or so, with lots of time left. Benaroya concert was about 1 year ago. The show wasn't released until early this summer or spring. And if you haven't seen the latest Rumor Pit. DO IT. Tons of good stuff.
so far... i'm not huge on this version... at this point... i think the ed, mccready and g.e. smith version was better at the hall of fame induction of bob dylan (among various other better versions done by ed and the crew)
What Pearl Jam song are you? I am presidential advice by president-elect Mike McCready. (Jim should get the joke, here's a hint.) Here's more un-related/related info from www.pearljam.com Starting tonight (actually a few days ago) in heavy rotation, VH1 will begin airing the Patti Smith song, People Have The Power from the Vote For Change finale. If you missed it, here's your chance to catch it! The Sony release of Pearl Jam's greatest hits will be released November 16th. The double cd is titled Rearviewmirror (Greatest Hits 1991-2003). Interview with Stone and some other stuff up too. The live version of betterman (2003 bridgeschool) is for sale with profits going to "freeing Aung San Suu Kyi and the courageous people of Burma."
