Well, I know when coaches come in, they will bring their own players. I have to wonder--does he have any in mind he wants to bring from Santa Cruz to Portugal? Or are his hands tied budget wise? Boavista are a small team. The funny thing is, my childhood friend was from portugal and it turned out his family supported Boavista. He assumed I didn't know the team, but I did because of Platini growing up lol.
Dude...i doubt $ would be a prob...any Bolivian player would LOVE to get an opportunity in Europe. And the dirigentes, well, I guess €s are better than Bs. More enticing.
It's possible. But you'd be surprised the ability to pay at the low end of Portugal. It's a top heavy league.
I think I spent more time trying to identify BolivianFuegos avatar then actually reading posts here. What the hell is that. Where does Ramillo play? He's a stretched out version of his dad.
Hahaha! I like him. I think he'd be a better coach for us down the road (10 years from now when we have a few world class athletes playing the sport). His game progression is spectacular, but it's simply not clicking well with USMNT.
As a Cosmos supporter I cant help it but to get pumped up about this. I would love to see this guy play w the Cosmos. Granted it's not a step up from our league, it still gives him some exposure to other leagues and looks like for the time being its a very competitive league where other teams are making plenty of additions. Plus the idea of seeing a Bolivian player at the team I support is just amazing. I can imagine how it felt to be a DC united supporter when they had Marco. Hope it happens, I do know that rumors in our league are very common specially from the agent.
Idk if it's legit, but in El Deber they actually showed the letter Cosmos wrote to Sport Boys. Hopefully it works out for him.

yay for DUK!!!! who's gonna go to that quakes vs cosmos game? ill be at the game in my etcheverry jersey!!!!
What's up everyone! How about that sorteo, huh? What about our group? Pan Comido, am I right? hehehe. Anyway, I got some downtime for a while so I decided to bring this back. I've tried to update as much as I could but once again, I'll need the expertise of you guys to add/correct anything I may have missed. I did notice that a lot of players once abroad returned almost immediately back to our countries' league. :/ Updates in red: CONFEDERATION Name Club (country) Domestic Competitions International Competitions UEFA Ricardo Pedriel Mersin İdmanyurdu (Turkey) Current League Status: Club currently in 17th place with 17 pts., 32pts behind 1st. 13 games remaining. Haha I am pretty sure Bastida is retired by now. Vicente Arze looks ot have taken a leave from the game too I think. He's not palying anywhere as far as I know, just living in Santa Cruz (friends with him on FB LOL). No idea what happened with Ali Vega. I think he was to play or maybe was on Bolivar's roster?? at one point? Pontons I thought was playing in Bolivia with Nacional Potosi I think? Diego Suarez appears to still be in Ukraine as far as I know.. Guthrie is another good question.
@gringolimon Your awesome buddy. I love the updates and education. Does anyone know if Galindo still injured?
Galindo came on at the 60ish minute for Potosi I believe vs. Bolivar. That's the last I saw of him. He's not a game changer, but he did have some decent moments where he put in a dangerous pass or won a foul. Shadow of the guy I imagined him to be though....
