Actually this is the guy : http://clubbolivar.com/index.php?option=com_jugadores&view=jugadoreslist&Itemid=75 Diego Zamora, I remember when Quiñonez moved up they were also saying that this kid was probably just as good. I think now he's the third string behind Arguello.
Marvin Bejarano is rumored to be in negotiations with Real Betis. Could it be true? http://www.eldesmarque.com/betis/58999-marvin-bejarano-ofrecido-al-betis-audio
I read it in a couple of places, so it could be true. The chance of it actually happening is pretty small IMO. Let's hope he does go there, and represents us well.
Gosh. I thought I was UNITED fan. From 1996 until Moreno retired, I always had season tickets. Since Moreno left, I've been to stadium twice, and had no interest to cheer/sing with fans. Maybe it's their soccer. If Pedriel comes, I'm going to all the games he plays in DC.
I am still a DCU fan...but since he retired and Olsen took over, the Latin American influence which kept me coming died....no interest since then.
http://www.laprensa.com.bo/diario/accion/futbol-nacional/20140115/de-vuelta-a-casa_53717_87865.html Our list of players abroad is dwindling, not necessarily bad thing in my book.
http://www.late.com.bo/saucedo-se-va-a-costa-rica-por-una-temporada/ Saucedo to play in Costa Rica for Saprissa. It's a big team there the owner is Vergara, same guy who owns Chivas in Mexico. Hope he does well.
At this point in his career it's just another notch in his belt. He's in his mid thirties and probably the money is just a bit better. Just because of the fact that he was the leading scorer in our league last year I hope he does well. Speaking of doing well abroad: http://videobolivia.com/septimo-gol-de-jhasmani-campos-en-la-liga-de-las-estrellas/ Campos kicking A**.
What a GOLAZO! Really want to see him move if not to somewhere big in South America or Europe...to MLS here to bring back the next 'Diablo' to DCU.
It is a done deal. Best of luck to El Caballo. http://www.nacion.com/deportes/futbol-costa-rica/Saprissa-Carlos_Saucedo_0_1394460742.html
True. But league competition is not where it should be to further his development. Then again, the dudes aging.
I don't think he went there for the game, or even the money, I doubt they're paying much more than in Bolivia. but he's at the end of his career and wants the experience of playing abroad one more time. Also! who wouldn't want to live in Costa Rica for a couple of years!! freaking beautiful!!
That club is always playing in the Concacaf Champions League so at least we'll se him on TV or in person. That being said, just googled the CCL and found out the club is not participating in this current 2013-14 season. It's not that they aren't any good but had some bad luck in both semi-finals of their local league tournaments; I guess they got him for his "scoring" history in hopes of winning their current season as only the Champion will qualify for the 2014-15 CCL. Good luck to him and hell yeah, playing in Costa should a nice change!
the league is better than Bolivia's so if he succeeds that would be great! And the pay will be better than Bolivia.
Been to Costa Rica, and its one of my favorite spots in latin america. Very friendly and beautiful. Trust me though, soccer is not better. Maybe a tad bit faster pace, but the quality isn't as strong. Bolivia way is do the easy things the hard way.
