We have to remember that all the other teams have forewards that can score goals. We don't have a player like that, so we tend to be at a disadvantage from the first whistle.

I think the 2000 season was the only time we had a balanced, competitive team. We certainly don't have one now. Will we have such a team by the 2008 opening of our new stadium? I would answer that with a resounding 'maybe.'

I see a pair for Kreis and Cunningham. This one looks to get ugly in the second half, especially if Meola is wearing his cement boots again tomorrow night. 5-2 RSL looks about right.

My guesses always turn out wrong, so I'm going to reverse psychology myself and say that the Donks lose three nil.

    Thanks to bigapplesoccer.com:

The New York Red Bulls enter their Saturday 7:30 p.m. match with Real Salt Lake at Giants Stadium still without five injured midfielders.

    They include:

    * Defender-midfielder Peter Canero (left knee contusion)

    * Midfielder Elie Ikangu (left hamstring strain)

    * Midfielder Shawn Kuykendall (left knee surgery)

    * Midfielder Mark Lisi (right adductor strain)

    * Midfielder Mike Magee (right knee sprain)

Lisi and Kuydendall have been placed on the season-ending injury list.

Also missing are rookie forwards Josmer Altidore and David Arvizu, who are on U.S. Under-20 National Team duty.

So based on our listed roster, here is who we have available.

    GK - Meola, Conway, Behonick
DF - Dunivant, Graham, Jolley, Mendes, Parke, Wynne
MF - Camp, Guevara, Henderson, Kovalenko, O'Rourke, Stammler, Vide
FW - Buddle, Cila, Djorkaeff, Laventure, Wolyniec

So we have 20 players (19 if we correctly disclude Behonick) to make an 18-man roster.

Are we cancelling the rest of this season's reserves' games?

4 game win streak. Unbeaten in 5.
Best of luck Bulls. Should be a good one.

As always, play well, Herm... er, Woly.

The Salty ones lost to Colorado in the Open Cup so they are on a three game win streak... and Woly looks more like Lurch then Herman Munster...

The weather here is lousy...raining and very overcast at 11 AM... so much for the good weather forecast...so RSL is in for a handful... Didn't we play RSL in the wind bowl last year?

4 game winning streak in league play. who gives a shit about the open cup. 5 game unbeaten streak in league play.

you think rsl is going to forget how to play because its raining? we'll see. the way you guys are playing though, RSL might run endlessly through your midfield on their way to goal.

Hey, take it easy on the poor guy. We'd probably be as ill-tempered as him if we were cult members as well. All Hail Lord Xenu... I mean, Mormon.

Thank god Buddle is not in the starting lineup. Shep said that he was just in a slump. What an understatement.

You are right, we should be more accommodating to our opponents' fans when they come onto our board and insult us. So, let's be friends instead. I have some ideas for fun stuff you can do where you live after the big game tonight.

Here are some activities you might enjoy in Utah after the game:
    * Look for bones of non-existent prehistoric horsies?
    * Try to force public school science classrooms to include flat earth and geocentric solar system models?
    * Hold a pot-luck supper at the local militia hall?
    * Restock your shelter in preparation for the Rapture?
    * Reorganize your Kirk Cameron autographed photo collection?
    * Write a missive decrying the infiltration of coffee into the American Mid-West?
    * Picket the homes of Hurricane Katrina evacuees?
    * Take the kids to the tractor pull or the greased hog hunt?

Go enjoy yourself, country bumpkin! Get out there and make your mark!
