Cockers says it's been patched up:

Interesting choice, should they land it. Kinda makes problems for Dutchie's on-the-deck aspirations.

Still, is nice to see the other sides trying to match our stellar example in their own endearing way.

Is there any chance that Nathan Tinkler's recent financial issues are going to effect the Jets?

    Yep, but timing is everything.

On the positive side David Gallop at least knows a fair bit about Tinkler and HSG.

    Doubt either team will die.

They'll be sold with the profit going to the tax office.

Knights will be fine, at least in the short term. They have a $20m bank guarantee covering them.

Jets is a different story. Hard to see too many other people interested in taking them over.

What happened to that Andrew Poole who was interested last time when Tinkler was playing bluff with the FFA? Is he still around?

He is, but he's not the sort of guy who would really swoop in and fund the club wholesale like Tinkler did. He's only worth about $10m or so.

He might be interested in some involvement, but I think he would probably be more interested in helping revive the Knights (which has always been his passion). He's not really a soccer fan.

I come in peace. I just saw the Jet's Facebook status announcing the contract termination of David Carney, Billy Celeski, Joel Griffiths, Kew Jaliens and Adrian Madaschi.

What's going on at NJ?

If you watch the game between NJ and Adelaide United that NJ lost 7-0, you can see some players collectively lost discipline. It is a sign that they would not play for the coach. Madaschi was substituted before half-time. Ben Kennedy was one putting in a decent performance, though.

    La Trucha repped this.

I think Tinkler is trying to force the FFA to take over so he can take them to court and try to get his $5 million back.

Even if I'm proven wrong and he is trying to rebuild the Jets, I question whether it is the right choice to base the rebuilding of the Jets around Stubbins.
