I like the old one better, but at least it still looks like a proper kit.

I'd prefer it without stripes on the shoulders.

I think it would have been better with black shorts. Just too much white.

The million dollar question: Will we be able to finally buy an authentic version?

    And make it long-sleeve too.

Notice the 3 stars. Nice. :)

I agree the shoulder stripes are a bit redundant, but that's almost a requirement with the new Addidas stuff, so I'm cool with it. I much prefer the look of these to our old away uniforms. I'm gonna have to get one of these.

The red doesn't look pink, so while it is climalite it may not be mesh! Yay!

I like it. I don't mind so much white. Hopefully these Away uniforms will not be as cursed as the old ones were. I wouldn't mind winning a few on the road for a change.

I like these new away unis a lot. Even the shoulder stripe. I still like the '98 whites too despite looking like a '69 GTO.

This is great. We're finally moving away from the goofy mickey mouse strips and into classy, respectable uniforms. If only more clubs ( I'm looking at you C-Bus and KC!!!) would follow DC and the scum's lead.

Me likey. Although, I think I might like it better without the shoulder stripes, but I think I could go either way. Black shorts sounds like it would've been cool, too.

But the real question is, will my girlfriend be able to buy me one for Christmas???? :D

There is absolutly nothing wrong with this kit. It is just about the nicest kit in the MLS... sorry pesimists.. but I love it... i like the white top and shorts, unfortunatly.. I doubt we will be able to buy an official version all though I really want one.

I really like the simple, classy look of this kit.
Much better than the red 3rd kit, that's for sure.

Don't care what it looks like, as long as it's luckier than the last one.

I hope that the red patches stand a little more than they do in the picture.
Otherwise the jersey's just too white for me.
I don't mind the white shorts, I actually don't like the smaller stripes across the chest because they look like the ones over the shoulders. I miss the fatter stripes, though the skinny ones may grow on me.
And we wear all black at home. If we did have road shorts that aren't white, they should be red.

    I think it looks classy.

I also like the fact that the number has not been put in the front.

Well, the number will probably make an appearance at some point.

Here's a quick photoshop kit change:

Anyone else hoping this finally spells the end of that godawful nickname "the Black-and-Red"?

    I know El Jefe is.

    ;)

I'm ready to call us the black plague after the last couple of seasons.

Interesting point. It's certainly an idea. BTW, is dark blue one of our colors?

I think this uniform is great. IMO, it's much better than the 2002 uni. Hopefully it'll bring a little luck with it.

Now that his brother coaches the Metros, Jeff Bradley called us the "Black and White" which ticked me off a little bit, as the Metros were black and white and we were black and red ... until they started copying us.
