Great album. Just listened to it a couple weeks ago. Back when I worked in Uptown I would head to the Green Mill after work and on Fridays Ben Rudolph would play piano behind the bar until the main act started. He'd play Eggs and Sausage on occasion.
Any of you guys going to Lolla? I've got a 4 day pass and will be there a little Thur and Fri and all day Saturday and Sunday. Anyone from here I run into I will purchase a drink for!
These are the only two videos I've seen of her, but I already love her music. Apparently she only does sad songs, but those are always the best.
it's driving me crazy that I can't remember what video I mis-linked Saturday night. Can't even blame malort.
Mud, along with Sweet, Smokie and Suzy Quatro, was another "house band" for the legendary producer/songwriter Mike Chapman (and his songwriting partner Nicky Chinn). When Mike moved to the US, he produced Blondie and the Knack.
Back over the 1972 winter holidays, I was sick with a flu and asked my dad to borrow a tape from my cousin, as dad was heading over there for some reasons. My dad brought over the reel-to-reel tape (no video) with an album on each side. One from Deep Purple and one from T.Rex. I had not heard of either band but my cousin was cool. He sure was.
It was of a German guy and a stuffed animal raccoon. The mods must've altered the URL for the sake of the children. I do blame the Malort.
This song made me think of the Fire but instead of do they owe us a living I substituted do they owe us some winning.
