    I contacted three mods about this, never heard back so I'm going to assume it's okay. At my site I did a random CONCACAF draw. Also, I've been working with Statto Software on a soccer management game similar to Championship Manager (our version isn't due out until the summer), but I put together a non-user-friendly version of it to do ALL of CONCACAF qualifying based on my draw.

    I'll come here daily and posts the results, and you can check out the table here and future fixtures here.

    I stated this morning and here are the results:
    Group 3: USA 14 at Aruba 0 (bocanegra '08, '12 :: beasley '09, '11 :: mcbride '17, '36, '70, '77 :: cherundolo '27 :: mastroeni '52, '67 :: pope '61:: sanneh '63, '78)

    Group 4: Panama 3 at Haiti 0

    Group 5: Costa Rica 13 at Anguilla 2

    What, Freddy Adu didn't get his first cap against Aruba?

    I'm curious? How did you come up with data on the Aruban team in order to simulate a game? At any rate, that's a pretty sweet draw: Aruba and Bahamas. I'd take that draw.

    I got their rosters from FIFA.com and FootballConfederation.com then had the computer generate random ratings based on the team's overall quality. It's REALLY hard to do, but once I get through this stage, most of the teams that'll be left there's enough info about out there.

    My plan is to cap Adu when we play Aruba at home. We should be qualified through by then. I'll probably play Memo, Spector, some u19's too...

    If you, or anyone, has any info on any of the CONCACAF sides, let me know and I'll change the data. Aruba and Bahamas are both in the bottom 7 of FIFA's CONCACAF rankings. Mexico drew Belize and Grenada, both towards the middle, probably the hardest draw, if there's such a thing in the 'new' first round.

    Donovan didn't score? I think he needs to stop doing all those photo shoots and start concentrating on futbol again :D

    No offense, but doubt it...

    This subject would be better suited in the CONCACAF board.

    Are you kidding me? They'll never get it into the penalty area, much less the goal!

    That is BIG! A real result like this and we'd have to jump into the FIFA top 180! ;)

    honduras joins the usa as teams to clinch a spot in the semifinals.

    usa 9 at bahamas 0
    adu ('13, '60, '79), gonzalez ('29, '39), hernandez ('42), beasley ('54), gibbs ('80), johnson ('84)
    the usa had advanced through, here was the starting lineup i used: howard, garcia, califf, cherundolo, hernandez, gonzalez, beasley, convey, gibbs, johnson, adu. adu was a 9 rating for the game, basically think of it like this thierry henry, rvn are 22-27. so i think that's about right for freddy.
