That is the biggest problem with Mexico's soccer. The people that control it are more interested in making money than in making money AND building good foundations for a good team. Two short tournaments per year to have more playoffs, bringing players from other countries instead of giving an opportunity to young local talent, making el TRI play in the U.S. ad-nauseum against small teams. It is very frustrating. They get all the players together 2 months prior to the WC and all they do is play a bunch of stupid friendlies and film commercials. It is not the players, it is the people that control Mexico's soccer.
