I'll be tracking via the UEFA.com matchtracker I guess. I wonder if they'll have it on the Inter radio station over the web? Anyone lucky enough to get this one live?
What's the UEFA matchtracker? For inter games when they aren't on( like today) I use iNter's Official Website which has an update of what has happened every minute or so and allows you to see the goals on video.
In an interview with www.inter.it/ Hector Cuper has hinted that Cannavaro, Vieri and Dalmat could all play in tommorow's game. He said that Cannavaro and Vieri weren't 100% yet but could still play. He said also that he prefered a 4-4-2, and with Dalmat that position is interpreted differently, but that Dalmat has been playing well in center midfield. In the interview Cuper also said he thinks inter are the favorites and that they must use the bad memories to motivate them. In the end, he said that he didn't have problem with Ronaldo, and perhaps Ronaldo isn't in accordance with him. During the meeting Ronaldo and he spoke about training sessions and preparations only.
Go here ==> http://www.uefa.com/ Then click on the 3rd Qualifying Round link in the upper right hand corner. It's nice because you'll also be able to see the other scores.
oh yea they have something like that on www.soccernet.com But I think the www.inter.it/ one is the best, because even though I can't read Italian, they'll have commenting so if I read "Recoba" I'll know that we have the ball probably in a good position. They also have pcitures on the side. THat helps you out if you can't read italian. They'll be pictures of them passing the ball around if they have it and vis versa and if inter scores there will be a picture of the ball in the net and if the other team scores there's a picture of Vieri with his hands over his head, and some more too. You can also see the goals that were scored in the match on video. What do you think inter's line-up will be retnicf?
For those of you who have access to it, Portuguese channel RTPi will be showing the game live at 4pm EST.
Also, radio coverage via the Inter site is available via Radio Cronaca. 0-0 4th minute Internazionale 1 Toldo 2 Cordoba 3 Kallon 4 Zanetti 7 Sérgio Conceição 10 Morfeo 14 di Biagio 18 Dalmat 23 Materazzi 32 Vieri 77 Coco Bench 12 Fontana 11 Guly 13 Cannavaro 19 Corradi 20 Recoba 25 Almeyda 26 Pasquale Coach Ladislau BÖLÖNI Coach Héctor Raúl CÚPER Sporting CP 12 Tiago 3 Rui Bento 4 Quiroga 5 César Prates 7 Niculae 8 Pedro Barbosa 15 Contreras 20 Quaresma 22 Beto 23 Rui Jorge 30 Toñito Bench 13 Nuno Santos 6 Hugo 9 Kutuzov 14 Ricardo Fernande 17 Paulo Bento 18 Luís Filipe 28 Christiano Ronal
Inter is lucky not to be down 2 or 3-0 at half time. Sporting is dominating the play but have failed to finish thier chances. HT Sporting 0-0 Inter
Sorry Sorry i'm wrong...... it's said go per recoba(it's in italian) so I thought it was a goal, but I guess it didn't count....or maybe i'm just wrong
"I pleased with the game," said the Inter president. "But we missed too much, seeing as we could have scored at least two goals. However, the season has started well, I saw a good attitude." Moratti chose Dalmat as one of the best players on the pitch, while he wasn't completely surprised by Vieri 's error in the final minutes. "You say that he never misses those goals? It's not true, sometimes it happens to him, too." Her is the UEFA summary: http://www.uefa.com/competitions/UCL/news/Kind=128/newsId=30204.html Sounds like Vieri missed an open net (like the Korea match?). Was anyone lucky enough to see highlights?
Yup, Vieri missed another sitter. This one was just as bad as the Korea one. Maybe Vieri is on the downside of his career. A couple of years ago he would never miss open shots like he has missed recently.
retnicf, they are showing a replay of the Inter-Sporting match on RTPI right now: http://www.jumptv.com/tv-rtptv.html#
