Does this mean Johnson is playing right back, Danny Williams is at right mid and Jose torres is at left mid? I don't like it

The expanded 9 player bench is Rimando, Besler, O-F, Zusi, Corona, Shea, Beasley, Boyd and Wondolowski.

S Johnson, Beitashour and Gordon DNP.

This is going to be ugly, we've seen Edu at center back and its not pretty. Keeping them under 4 will be a victory.

Really was looking forward to seeing what Beitashour could do. He has been impressive for San Jose', and did just fine against Chelsea..... now he's not even on the game roster??

It will play like the 4-3-2-1 tree v Scotland

    ----------Gomez----------
    ----Torres---Donovan---
    ----Jones---Williams----
    --------Beckerman-------
    Castilo-Edu-Cameron-Fab

If we boss the midfield we should be fine! Beckerman, Jones and Williams are the key to how the MNT performs.

Erybody chill out. JK is going defensive first I see. This line up might just might be able to hold Mexico even by halftime or up one. Then he'll put more attacking options in the 2nd half. I doubt it'll be a complete blowout as most people hear say..

Besides the Edu centerback thing, which ive already had time to settle down about & gain some confidence towards, its just about our best possible line-up. The Johnson right back situation I called. Good stuff, however im very wary of what formation he uses here. I dont want to see 1 of our many holding mids in the line up playing out wide. I hope he uses this more as a 4312 rather than 4141. Torres being the 1 creating for Donovan & Gomez. They'd be better served like this tbh.

Well....after seeing Puerto Rico's bunker against Spain I suppose this match will be relatively "exciting".
I hope Tim Howard brings da fuego with him today.

The back 4 sure look weak, is Johnson that good that he can play anywhere, all we need to see is him playing goalkeeper.

According to USSoccer 4-3-1-2 it is.

Good to see Torres Central. The triple d_mids is a bit much, but can understand it.

Worry is Castillo. Mexico will sense blood in the water what ever side he's on.

nope, you are wrong. There are good fundamentals on this US team (the underlying value of the stock) that you all are overlooking in your misplaced fear. You are overvaluing our opponent.
    (the other option)

Lehman was (trying) to dump massive liabilities.

Sometimes, these guys get little injuries in training or arrive late and that forces the coach's hands. It's also been JK's practice to call in guys once or twice for training before he actually takes a look at them in a game.
