My half-time report:

- First, watching on HD is beautiful. Bitch and whine all you want it being exclusive but HD shows off DC incredibly well.

- LA started very strong. They are developing a quick one-touch passing game and at the beginning of the game that game had our defenders chasing the play- something that's extremely rare. They totally deserved their goal.

-As part of that I thought Namoff had a pretty poor half. His side of the field is definitely getting attacked and he's getting exposed all half.

- DC though got back into the game. The own goal was luck, but luck that was created by Moreno. After that DC was the stronger team.

- Eventually both teams slowed down as they were end to end at the beginning.

- LA had a brief surge around minutes 35-40.

- DC countered after that and looked more dominant.

- LD overall was like Moreno- both were closely watched. Both had a couple of chances and were dangerous when they had the ball.

Bottom line: I expect a DC win, especially if Gomez comes in. I think they'll wear LA out.

Albright's goal was a deflection off of Namoff.

 

Namoff has definitely been the weakest link tonite.

I think Nagamura got a YC. I didn't see what happened.

 

I would not of started Ben in AM role to begin with. and with Gomez coming off a minor injury, and Freddy supossedly uninjured, I would go with Freddy.

 

Finally, DC is getting some possession. Gomez to Moreno to Esky, who can't get a shot off. Looking better.

Namoff loses the ball going forward, then makes a nice defensive stop on the other end.

I don't know whether LA has decided that they have enough to win and are just sitting back, or whether Gomez' insertion has made that much of a difference, but we are really controlling the match now.
