Esky just fouled hard by Ihemelu, FK from about 30 yards. Esky takes, cleared by Marshall.

Donovan takes a looping FK to Albright, who was wide open (Erpen asleep). Troy was planted, and it (thankfully) wasn't on target.

 

Albright apparently misses an easy chance for LA.

Well, this hasn't been pretty so far. It's been an odd match. LA came out very aggressive, had all of the early control, then after their goal, we gain control for awhile. Then after the own goal, they came back strong. Then we controlled until the end of the half.

Tino had a great chance early and then disappeared.

Our defense doesn't look like its normal strong self.

LA had a long USOC match on Wednesday, and I heard it is hot in DC, so maybe they will die in the second half.

I listened to the audio on Wednesday. I remember the $19.95 covering audio and video. Anyone have that number for customer service. I feel like ripping someone a new asshole.

Is Donavan making an impact so far?

 

Yes. He looks dangerous. He should have at least one assist, had Albright been able to finish the FK, and perhaps a goal, except for Erpen's sliding near-post save. I think he came to play.
