I re-worked one of my older models for a crest...

    - The intertwined letters are "A" "M" "F" "C" for Atletico Miami F.C.
    - I included the City of Miami flag.
    - The soccer ball from the FCB Crest.
    - 2010 (year we'd begin)
    - FCB (for respect of our Catalan friends)

I hope you guys like it, I will be re-working the uni's....

Orange and green are Miami colors, but can you try one with blue and yellow, just for Curiosity, I like the crest but the sun a lil scary looking, its nice though.

Sorry, a little too much going on in this logo. In fact, to be honest, the FCB shield is probably the threshold for "active" logos.

Ok... redesigned the crest to use the FCB "style" crest with Miami details...

I also designed 4 uniforms, 1 is a re-tread (I've posted before)... Hope you all like them...

I like this crest, or some variant, more than anything else. Shrink the bird & add a palm tree to make it very Miami.

    I like the name, too....

If you're going to use Miami FC, then you need to use Miami FC's current colors.

I really love that flamingo logo, but it looks too much like Tottenham to ever be able to work.

Nice. The checkers on the unis make my eyes bleed, but will probably look far better for real.

I don't know about using an olde-tyme football, though. We're being founded (hopefully) in 2011, not 1899. I'd put a modern Teamgeist football on it, or at least the modern-classic truncated-icosahedron design.

I'll do some more logos as soon as I have time for it. But everybody should feel free to mess around with the elements of my logos - this is why I posted the flamingo separately earlier in the threat.

Well, actually the only similarity is that it is a bird on a ball. Of course I recognized that while I was creating the logo as well, but copying it was never my intention. I just wanted to do a flamingo logo with some soccer reference. In fact, as I noticed the similarity of the concepts, I looked specifically for little details to set them apart - apparently not enough...

    For comparison:

That's why I suggested adding a palm tree. I wonder how it would look in the FC Miami shades of blue as the background with a green & tan tree & a white flamingo.

Great job on these. I love checkered jerseys. We could be the Miami Checkers, and have the Checkers Burgers logo on the front. I love the first "Escudo" as well.

Do you really think Nike will force FCB Miami to not use the classic FCB colors?

I've cannibalized some of my previous ideas and came up with this interchangeable crest design. Included are some of the non-"FC Miami" names I like the best, "MMX"(the Roman numeral for 2010), and 3 color combos: Barça navy/maroon, Fusion yellow/blue and Miami green/orange. I also tried one with the blue/green from the county's flag but it's too close to Seattle. Also are some kits for each color scheme.

The Barca maroon/blue kit done in the Miami orange/green might be good.

I'm more comfortable with FC Miami than any other name, although MMX is clever, especially being used as the date on the shield, too. I suppose the orange/green w/FCB Miami might be the best we can hope for. We'll see.

Thanks for the effort. It is appreciated...:)

These are awesome! They look similar to Club San Luis. Though I like the checkerd thing more, will be unique to the league. And to the other guy who said about the name FCB Miami, they have a naming contest right? Won't they name it the winning name?

Well we'll have to see about the contest. If it's a poll between FCB Miami, Barça Miami, Barcelona USA, Barcelona Miami or Barça USA it would be pretty lame of them. I think they best way for them to do it would be to have everyone submit names, then take the 5 or 6 most common suggestions and have a vote between the people who have put deposits down for tickets(I think that's the way Seattle did it). Seattle though gave 3 predetermined names(Alliance, Republic and FC if I remember correctly) and a write in option, and Sounders won out. To be honest, I could live very easily with FCB Miami, but if they are going to give us the chance to name the team something totally unique for out team, we ought to take it.

Maybe. According to some of the quotes on this site that's one thing they are doing. They're open to suggestions....

Exactly. Hopefully we'll get something good out of it. If everyone here doesn't fall in love with it, they can accept it & support it.

I think they originally wanted to do away with "Sounders", but so many people complained that they added a write-in option. I guess because they figured not enough people would want to bother writing in "Sounders".

Derivatives of the "Sounders" name ended up with 49% of the vote.

Some great kits..keep up the great work.
I still prefer Miami Athletic or Miami FC or FC Miami. No way to Miami Atletico or Barca Miami etc...This is still America and the language is English, not Spanish or German or Italian. I dont mind a team using the Barca crest or colors though, if they are owned by them. And for what its worth, I think when teams in Japan or wherever use English words/alphabet on their unies it is just as dumb.
