I wouldnt call it aqua. I would call it green. Maybe we need something like the green hurricane uniforms.

And the name "Dolphins". Who does that scare? Im really fed up with the team's names lately

I'm all for the Bremen colors. To me it leans a little more towards aqua than green but whatever. I think Bremen colors would look great for Miami.

Yea, same here. I could careless about the uniform. I was just saying my preference. Even though we wont have Barca looking jerseys, I would still expect the jerseys to be either red or blue. Does anyone have any info on this?

No orange. Orange says Dolphins and Canes(that's why I hate that the Marlins put it all over every promotional material they put out). My school of thought is that they need to pick colors that will give instant brand recognition to this new team if it's comes to fruition. It would be one thing if the Heat, Panthers, Dolphins and Marlins ALL used aqua/orange, but they don't. Barça red/blue would conflict with the Panthers, but there's nothing they can do about that.

If they decide to go with totally unique colors for the Miami franchise, I like either blue/yellow Fusion colors, or a teal/blue combo. The teal would tie in to the Marlins and Dolphins, the color does say Miami, but the overall look would not be identical. Since the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Anaheim Mighty Ducks changed looks, the Marlins, Dolphins and Jaguars are the only 3 major pro teams in the US that use any aqua/teal. Keep the teal, it's Florida's color, but don't copy the Dolphins.

What exactly are "tropical" colors? Blue and yellow are found in abundance in the tropics. Any colors you care to name are found in abundance in the tropics.

If they don't use Barca colors (blue and maroon), and if they do merge with or acquire Miami FC, use the Miami FC name and the Miami FC colors: medium blue and light blue.

If they don't merge or acquire Miami FC, then acquire the rights to Miami Fusion FC, and use the old Miami Fusion FC name and the Miami Fusion FC colors: blue and yellow.

There are lots of football clubs that wear blue and yellow that are not named Boca Juniors. No one is suggesting that just because the colors are blue and yellow, that the uniforms should be blue with a yellow chest hoop just like Boca. There's lots of ways to make blue and yellow uniforms that don't look like Boca.

Cmon, colors like those show champion caliber teams. Blue and Yellow would look good, and those kinda were the Fusion colors too, not necesarily trying to copy Boca.

I think it's pretty nice!!! Creative, and different. I wouldnt mind staying with the Fusion colors.

you guys think it would be a good idea to make a poll with multiple or the best potential names w/ a deadline. I think the possibility of naming the team would be better if there was a strong vote demand for a specific name.

Yeah lol why hate? I live in Broward but I love Miami. Miami is what brings sports teams and concerts and other events to South Florida. With the Marlins and hopefully MLS coming to downtown, I anticipate being in Miami more often then ever.

What we need is to show everyone that Miami will support MLS. So everyone need to go to http://www.miamifcb.com/season_tickets.htm and sign up. MLS will decide soon which city will will be awarded MLS expansion. It is up to us the fans

If drSoFlaFan would please change the uniform colors of the 3 kits to the colors on the City of Miami flag we might have something that reflects the area even more.

I'd do it myself, but I am clueless about how to do it...

Actually I've been tinkering with those designs to use the Miami-Dade County flag, which is teal/blue. I'll also do one that is green/orange. Stay tuned...
