my bad, i lost count of where our wingbacks/fullbacks can play and who can play what after all we've used 4 players at LB and 4 players at RB
I think a lot of people scapegoat him too much.

He is always looking to cross or make a good deep run to combine. Defensively he has his faults but I dont think your statement is accurate considering that out of the 9 starts he has had only 2 have been losses, 1 draw and 6 wins. He does take fault for the red(harsh) vs napoli which resulted in a loss but he was also our best offensive force vs our loss at sassoulo.

Montoya defensively leaves too much of a gap which forces medel/miranda to cover up for him. Furthermore he is just not gelling well enough with our other defenders: defends 1v1 instead of as a unit.

Now if both managed to leave and we got a proper RB that can both defend well and link up then Im all for it.

well at least we have something to look forward to in the summer

Frog has left for Samp on loan
Montoya looks to be leaving to Betis
Eder is now confirmed, he's a different type of striker than what we have though I still dont understand why we're getting another striker considering we have 7 already

To be fair the only ones that play really close to or inside the area that we have are Palacio (who in reality is more of a second striker) and Icardi. All the other "strikers", who to me are not, are attacking midfielders: Jovetic (who can play a little further up), Ljajic, Perisic, etc.

Correct, so we have 2 players that can play in the box + Jojo and a bunch of attacking midfielders. So when there's a scoring problem we throw in another striker? I think Mancini still thinks we have a striker problem which I find odd considering the performances of our midfielders & attacking midfielders.

If he would just step back and understand why the strikers can't do their job.
At least the issue will be dealt with in the summer so that's a positive.

I'm wondering if Mancini will make a bid for Kolarov in the summer.

For today anyway, the Rai announcers are saying Thoir wants to hang on to Mancini. Not sure if its because they both speak English and understand one another or if its because Thoir doesn't know who else to hire. Either way right now, its sounding like Mancini will stay for a while.

Mancini is a good coach especially when it comes to rebuilding and steadying ships in the right direction. However I just don't understand his alienation policies and his relationships with players have been contaminated with issues for a while now.
I'm hoping we add a good LB/RB and a creative mid then hand over the reigns to Simeone if things go sour with Mancini.

Well with jovetic potentially leaving, ljajic going back to roma and that ever looming cloud of someone putting up 40 mill for icardi there very well could be space for him and others.

Kinda wish biabiany would attract some interest to make space for better players.

I rather have Medel than Yaya, does the job defensively and we don't have to shell out close to 6mill per season.
It would be an atrocity if he leaves and we end up with Melo - Yaya as a midfield.

Banega deal is looking more and more like it will actually go through which is a major plus.

A midcamp with yaya, banega and medel/kondogbia will be a real upgrade ! From the actual ...

It seems that sampaoli will arrive to lazio and will ask medel for biglia change ....

Biglia is one of the best serie a midfielders but he's close to 31 and his price tag is closer to 20-30 mill which is a bit much imo.
The club does need to sell players since we didn't make CL but I'm hoping it doesn't sell too many key players otherwise it will be another season of having a new team that still needs time to gel.

Banega and Erkin are confirmed, Ansaldi from Genoa is waiting to pen the deal.

Santon, Juan Jesus, Frog are all looking to be on the way out.

Big rumors for Payet but I honestly hope we beat out other teams to Gabriel Jesus, kid is looking like the second coming of Ronaldo.
