welp. we have more or so a year till the important Gold Cup which will see the winner go to Brazil to compete in the coveted and cursed Confederations Cup, while UNCAF is just around the corner and we need to place well to qualify for La Cop de Oro.

Now...Whose hosting it this time?? and what will be our squad!

    GO!

honduras might win it this time.

after today's game ..you can pretty much say honduras has grown.
let's hope our new coach can do good things with this team.
yes new coach ..for those that don't know ..ruedo is pretty much out (i prefer that he stay ..but let's wait until its official)

Shame about Rueda he was a very good manager and seemed a gentleman too, i hope all hondurans remember him in a good light.

I hope la H bounce back with a bang, i mean win the UNCAF and hopefully the Copa de Oro because i want us in the confederations cup plus we need to prove ourselves in concacaf again.

Who ever takes over should bring in some new players such as Mario Martinez, Luis Ramos and a new striker such as RoRo or Bengston even Najar or Lozano but they may be too young.

RoRo is 20...with no experience. while Jerry has had a small taste and is 23, Welcome has experience now and is 25 and Costly well...he's Costly!!

Martinez??? lol Cristhian?? Real Espana's?? I always thought he was a flop. hasn't impressed me yet.

He really impressed me during these World Cup games. Superb saving.

I think Noel is great Internationally, when it comes to the big stage and big games....he delivers.

now it can also be said that he chokes here and there, but I've always been a fan of this guy.

No matter who coaches this team, I think we'll breeze thru the next eliminatorias. If we don't we'd have serious issues.

The fact of the matter is, I dont want Rueda here any more. I am thankful for the work he has done, but now its time we move in a different direction.

    RoRo no expierence!?!

What about all the international experience hes gotten with the U17 and U20 teams!? U20 world cup ring a bell?

Hes scored handfuls of goals with both those teams, and how can you expect him to get better if he doesn't continue to get experience. He also had a nice season with Olimpia.

Mario Martinez also has some international experience, and is of course, signed with Anderlecht. These young players are the future, we must give them chances.

no...you cannot compare Senior World Cup Qualifiers...to U-20 Tourneys and U-17 World Cups...different ball game.

on top of that,,he never delivered in the youth ranks. last time i seen him...when he started in the embarassingly poor showing against The Salvatrucho U-20.

I think if Rueda isn't our coach...then Alexis Mendoza might be or Marathon's ex-coach the Uruguayan, Keosseian. He seems like the best fit tbh.

I wanna see a young lineup in the Goldcup.

    Bengston- Roro

    Nunez -----Mario Martinez

    Thomas------Luis Ramos

    Izaguirre---Leveron--Chavez---Garcia

    -------- Escober------

Najar, Mayorking, and other youngsters being called up too.

For the Uncaf and Gold Cup a few things have to happen.

Only MLS and National League Players - I think all players who are playing in europe should be left alone to keep improving themselves in their club. ( i just keep thinking how we screwed up Alvarez last time)

Mix from U-17 and U-20 - we shouldnt be scared of using a good mix of these players

No players older than 26 for the UNCAF no players older than 28 for Gold Cup - that means no Walter Martinez and no Jerry Palacios because they should be 32 when the world cup comes around and even though they might still produce we need to use these tournaments to develop a younger squad
